What is your favorite bird?

So, it all depends what kind of birds we are talking about. If you want to know my favourite Fantastical bird. It will have to be the Occamy.
These animals are fascinating, not only for their beautiful colours and appearance, but also for their abilities. And have you ever seen their eggs ? They shine like moonlight. Oh what I wouldn't do to witness one hatching..
I don't have a drawing of mine on hand. Next time I'll make sure to sketch something real quick to show you.
Now, if we are talking about "ordinary" animals like some like to call them. The two birds I affectionate the most are the Shoebill and the Kakapo. Though I agree they are two complete opposites.
The Shoebill is a towering bird, the size of a young man. Extremely intelligent and territorial, it resembles in some ways, the Hippogriff. They bow to show appreciation and respect, and vocalise extremely loudly with their beak and have very long wings, almost twice the size of their body.
The Kakapo is quite different. Weighing around 4kg (the weight of a house cat), he is the largest species of parrots. But, he is usually the large and heavy, that he can't fly because his wings are too small. So, instead, he became a forager and a climber. Making him really clumsy.
There are lots of fascinating birds, like the Kiwi, the Loon or even the Cassowary. But I will keep that for another time.
