Madison's dad was so protective of her and he seemed to be the kind of guy who wouldn't be okay with Madi's life revolving around a boy. I don't think she even had a boyfriend before this guy, her dad probably wouldn't let her. I also remember Madi posting tiktoks where she 'manifested' a boyfriend and shortly after she was with him and now look where they are... I do think this is exactly what she wants.
Is this a case a parent holding their child back so much that they fuck up as soon as they leave home?
We obviously don't know the full story, don't know the family dynamic in all its nuances, so we can't ever know what really happened and how it all played out.
As much as I'm clowning on her, I'm moreso sympathetic, because this seems like a shitty and overwhelming situation to be in. I can't imagine being 21 and being engaged and pregnant. I was black out drunk at the club at 21, stringing a guy along and kicking a nasty cigarette habit. Anyway.
But yeah, I'm pretty sure frog guy is her first serious boyfriend. It's crazy. It could definitely be that she had a very structured and disciplined teen life, considering she did JATP and then did a lot of promotion and tour conventions. Then again, she didn't have the crazy teen stardom like the Disney Channel kids. Maybe this really has been her dream life all along.
I wish her the best. But I fear reality will soon show its nasty face to her. 21, engaged and pregnant (and without a college degree?) is not all sunshine and rainbows.

It's bizarre, for sure. Out of the blue with seemingly nothing organised beforehand to allow for a smooth transition. He had zero scandal. The group is at their peak. He could've released his solo work as part of the group, like Yeonjun recently did with 'No Labels'. The coming days will be interesting to see if there'll be any follow-up messages in regards to this.
Why do you like rescene?
I like Rescene, because all of their songs are well-made and fit perfectly within their concept. Each have their own strengths and vocal colour, so they have a distinct sound that makes them stand out. The girls seem lovely as well and are great comedic relief in variety shows.
Their label is incredibly small and independent, but moves like a larger company by giving the group a light stick, member-specific plushies, fan concerts, and self-produced, high-quality variety content. All the money they make goes back into the group, which is really admirable.
I like that their songs move me. I like that they have something to say and rarely venture into nondescript love songs. I like that they're hungry for success.

During the pandemic, but I don't know exactly when. I think (?) I casually began to get into k-pop in 2021 and then became fully invested in 2022. Sort of crazy to me how recent this hobby actually is.
