you are not from here, and yet so familiar.
Tell us,are you from outside? If so,how is it?
It's been so long since we've seen the sun.
While scouring fossils and detailing the scale a creature would have to be to leave such large bones, a spirit lies in wait until his boots land close enough for the spirit to tear itself from the sand.
"You are not from here, and yet so familiar.
Tell us, are you from outside? If so, how is it?
It's been so long since we've seen the sun."
Shad wrestles with the spirit for a while before shoving it back down into the sand. Moments later while hes still recovering from the fright it pokes its head back out of the shifting ground, head tilted and waiting for an answer.
"You!" His chest heaves, the spirits haven't rattled him so much since the first time they started appearing to him. "Fine. Yes, I am from the Overworld, and last I saw it was embroiled in war." He pauses, and clutches his chest as if he was in pain.
"I haven't seen the sun in a while either." His head tilts down and his hair covers his eyes. "I don't think I could even bare to see it, I don't think... I could bare to see the Overworld ever again. Watching life go on without...without her..." He takes a deep breath and stares down at the soul.
"I don't know why you'd say I seem familiar, but I've only been here for maybe a few months. Unless you mean that you've seen me wandering around here already in which case that would be obvious." He stomps his foot and the sand around him shifts, bending to the will of his destructive powers.
"Leave me before I make you."
The spirit stares for a moment before sinking beneath the waves of sand.
