There was in the original draft of Victory's Wings, and there probably will be in this version as well. The first draft mentioned The Odyssey, unironically earlier in the draft, and James made a comment about wonderland and the rabbit hole, that I adored and will probably rework into this version. Aislinn liked to refer to Hades as the Wizard of Oz, in early versions of the manuscript. ( no she doesn't have a death wish, why do you ask?)

I went and looked, and I've never used the word yellow!!

Where you post: AO3 mainly. I think I have a few on Tumblr I haven't gotten around to adding quite yet.

Most popular one-shot: On AO3 is a Batlantern one-shot called World's Greatest Detective. My first Bruce/Hal fic, cute and fluffy, and I had fun writing it. On Tumblr it's a little fluff piece of someone complementing Bruce for taking the time to learn Damian's native language. ( on my main blog, before I created this side one)

Most popular multi-chapter story: Bat Wings and Power Rings! An isolated!bats AU with a side helping of pre-batlantern, and Hal bonding with Dick and Jason.

Favorite story you wrote: I loved writing both of my AUs Dragons of Gotham and my Born Bold series. I have ideas for lots of little side stories in both worlds, and even a few chapter fics.

Story you were nervous to post: Growing-up Nightwing. It was my first foray into the Batman fandom, and I was very unsure about it. But I took the plunge and never looked back.

How do you choose your titles? Sometimes they're random, other times it's a theme from the story itself, or a line.

Do you outline?: Sometimes I do, for my long fics I usually do, for my one shots, not so much.

How many of your stories are…

Do you accept prompts? YES!!! Always! Might take a while to complete but I look forward to them!

Upcoming story you are most excited to write: There's Iron in my Blood, is my DC/Marvel Crossover that's been in the planning stages for a few months. It's gonna be another long one. I'm anticipating 15+ chapters. I'm also excited to write several side stories for my Dragon and Isolated Batfam AUs.

STS! How did you come up with the idea for your current project? How has it changed or developed since then?

Hi there! Thanks so much for the ask and sorry for taking so long to answer.

I got the idea for both of my original projects when I was daydreaming ( at different times) and was hit by a single image.

For Godlings, it was the flash of a girl, red hair like fire, lit up by lightning, a sword in hand, a wild grin on her face, and blood on her teeth.

For Drakewytch it was an image of a girl with dark hair, kind eyes, and a sad smile, with a small dragon, curled around her shoulders like a cat, gold eyes glowing out from underneath the girls hair.

Storyteller Saturday! 💖 Do any of your characters have unusual fears or phobias? What about phobias in general? Do these have origin stories?

Thanks for the ask quill! I'll answer for both of my wips, one from each project 😃

I know I've mentioned this a few times, Aislinn is terrified of Peacocks. Like will cross a field to avoid them, or call in a favour ( a legit will kill/help you hide a body/Big Time Favour) from one of brothers to either get her away from it or it away from her. She refuses to go to zoo's or sanctuaries that have free roaming peacocks. Doesn't even like seeing peacock feathers as decorations, fake or others, will leave the store if she sees them.

Jexa does not like fire, or enclosed spaces, it's a fear, but she can work around it if it's important or needed enough. She actually has a blood phobia though. But not of others blood, but of seeing blood on her skin. A remnant left over from the attack that killed her parents.
