It happened so fast that she couldn’t even process their swift change of positions for a few moments, the wind knocked out of her lungs and making her see stars.

She was teasing him, being flirty and suggestive mostly for the purpose of getting him flustered and blushy, but what she hadn’t expected was for him to actually act on those ideas. Selphie only paused for effect and that was his chance, scooping her up and pressing her between him and the wall right beside his desk.

His arms were strong and secure around her thighs, her spine hitting drywall and her surprise escaping in a gasp muted by his lips. Her legs wrapped instinctively around his waist and his neck was encircled by one of her arms, holding tight and returning his heated kisses wholeheartedly. She could feel him hard against her, and her free hand reached down to blindly undo his belts and free him from his pants.

Too many clothes in the way for what she had in mind.

As much as Selphie would love to be cuddled up with Squall when they’re done with SeeD duties for the day, she doesn’t force it, usually letting him decide how close they’ll be and how much affection he’s willing to give. She won’t admit that she’s quite giddy the first few times he drapes an arm around her shoulders and pulls her close.

For sleeping, however, she leaves him little choice. If they’re sleeping in the same bed, she’ll slide into the sheets facing away from him and shift backwards into him to be his little spoon, whether he opts to throw an arm over her or not.

Can you believe she’s finally gone? It felt so good to come back to Balamb Garden knowing that all of this sorceress stuff is all done with! And we have that big celebration tonight, too! It can’t get much better than this!

I guess there’s still a few things we need to figure out. Like what’ll happen with Garden, what’s gonna happen with G-Garden and Galbadia and how the world is gonna calm down now that we can have peace, and how Esthar is going to factor into everything...

But there’s always tomorrow to worry about that, right?
