i always try to see if people care about others as much as i do. people should think of others, but also themselves. so i guess i look for people who isn’t scared of caring for others? i just really like surrounding myself with people who aren’t afraid of affection, i guess. and people who has good sense of humor bc that’s some good shit right there

So I'm a 14 year old girl. The last few days I've been thinking a lot about wanting to be a boy. I've always seen advantages of being a boy, and I've always wanted it to be a reality somehow. I also don't understand if I HAVE to actually get surgeries and stuff, or I can just call myself a boy. All my thoughts about actually being transgender, has only crossed my mind recently, though. So I'm really unsure if it's actually what I want, or it was just a thought that I'm gonna regret later, help?

well, one thing to do, is wait.

wait and see how your thoughts pan out, if you are actually trans or not. these things take a long time to find out, and it’s completely normal and good to take a long time to think through it.

there’s is one thing about wanting to be a boy because of the advantages and such, and there’s another thing about fully identifying as one because you feel like this is you. you need to know that no matter what you may want to do, what you truly feel like deep down is who you are. just because you want something, doesn’t mean you will truly feel okay with that.

and you don’t need to go through surgery to be male. many never goes through surgery or starts transition, they know who and what they are, and decides to live with the body they have. you are just as valid with and without surgery.

you can try to test out male pronouns, or even nonbinary pronouns, to see which one you think fits you the best. just take it slow, and steady. this is something you cannot decide just overnight, okay? take your time.
