ok so I’m currently working on a digital painting of a rainforest waterfall, and I’m having trouble coloring/painting the water. and i was wondering if u could show how? thank you!

Everything felt so warm and cold at the same time. Your head and senses were clouded, like a fog blinding you for who knew how long. But after a while, you finally regained a moment of consciousness.

The forest was silent, except it wasn't silent at all. Crickets sang here and there all around celebrating another summer night. The fire was crackling near, and some heavy steps over the grass approached as Geralt kneeled at your side, checking your temperature in your forehead with the rough touch of his fingers.

"Mm, it's decreasing. Good" you heard him mutter, not sure if he was talking to himself again, or to Roach.

You finally opened your eyes and found him there, concern all over his face until he saw you were finally awake.

"You're back" he said, running his fingers through your hair as he sat by your side. "You had me worried."

"I'm... fine..." you murmured, being an obvious lie to whoever could see you.

"You don't have to pretend with me" he responded. Then, with his strong arms, he lifted your torso ever so gently, and pulled you to sit between his legs, with your back resting on his chest. "I'm gonna give you something. I'm not going to lie to you, it's gonna taste like horse piss, but you need to drink it whole, alright?"

You groaned, but you knew you couldn't refuse. He wasn't going to let you do so.

And, yes, it tasted like fucking horse piss.

"You did good. It will make you feel better" he muttered, stroking your hair as he still held you in his arms. "You can go back to sleep now, you need to rest."

"Tell me a story" you responded, weak and with your eyes half closed. His voice always felt good, and it definitely helped you to sleep.

You didn't have to ask him twice. Geralt started to murmur one of his stories in your ear, and you went back to relax again, his chest being the best pillow existing, and his arms, the best shield you could ever have.

Omg, omg, OMG. This is- I can't!! Really one of the sweetest things someone has ever done for me! Felt like crying a second ago because everything just f*cking hurts but then i saw this and now i'm crying happy tears! 😭❤️
