lmao i do think dream is aware he wants george’s attention (as he said jokingly on the trident farming stream, he’s used to having it all the time and doesn’t like when it’s taken away from him). also on tommy’s stream when asked how he coped with george talking more with other friends he kind of smugly went “haha i called him out on stream 😌” so i do think he’s aware he wants george’s attention and that he will sometimes try to interrupt when he wants to (like when george is with quackity even tho they’re obviously all friends!). tbh with how he’s joked about it openly i feel like he sees it as pretty normal (which! it /is/ normal to get jealous of your friends having other friends sometimes it’s just funny how transparent he is lmao)
yeah you’re right, he’s said some things that’s definitely makes it seem like dream is at least aware of his jealousy issue. I totally forgot about that moment with tommy too haha. I wonder if dream and quackity have talked about it off stream too.......
This just goes into one of my favorite things about dnf and about dream is how he has to prove that george’s best friend to everyone. Like telling Tommy that is so funny, going yeah he’s my best friend and i called him out on stream for not talking to me as much 😌. I have many thoughts about this concept of dream “proving” how close they are. but anyways
and yep! absolutely, it is normal to feel jealous of your friends hanging out with other people, I know I certainly have. it’s also totally normal to feel jealous of your crush hanging out with other people
