Palace and Fox for Val please!!

Palace: Are you a workaholic or is it difficult to even pull yourself out of bed? 

Val: I like sleep. I don’t like mornings. But I have responsibilities. Azulita needs to be taken care of, people need their demons eased–so I guess it’s both really.

Fox: Flirtatious or flustered easily? Do people hit on you a lot?

Val: Uhm…I don’t know! I don’t think I really am too flirty unless I really like someone. *pause*….what counts as flirting? Because I did get some letters recently asking…*squints at the handwriting*….’Can Val plz fuck me’.

5. asra eating blue tongued skinks. They look a bit like faust and i prefer if asra eats them when i am not around. I mean i do cook them for him on special occasions but i can’t watch him eat it. It looks like he eats Faust ;o;

12.My deepest fear?…. I guess i have more than one. Failing nadia and julian. Hurting asra and others i care but personally….to be burned alive again. It’s something i recently remembered and it scares me.

2. If your apprentice was a romanceable character in The Arcana, what would their route be like? (Feel free to be as detailed or as vague as you’d like.)

      Elora’s pretty shy when it comes to social interaction with most people if they aren’t customers so you might have to go slow with the actual romance stuff. I believe a big point in her romance would be finding self worth even in the things you find ugly or undesirable.

9. What is your apprentice’s natural stress response (fight, flight, or freeze) and how does that influence their actions when confronted with a stressful situation? Do they recover from stress quickly or does it affect them for hours afterward?

     She tends to just be a very tired individual so in most stressful situations she’ll drag her hands down her face and fight on. If she feels unequipped for the situation (such as certain social interactions) she’s more likely to freeze up or running off saying that she has to get back to her shop.

      Stress stays with them from a few days to possibly months but after particularly hard days Elora looks forwards to relaxing in various ways and smoking with her favorite magician.

20. Is your apprentice friends with any other fan apprentices?

There are so many amazing apprentices that Elora hasn’t had the courage to really talk to or befriend any of them yet but hopefully this can change in the future!

Lovers: If you like any of the main six romantically who do you like (including AU’s) 

Val: Asra is…he’s kind. Every time I feel him it’s so comforting a-and accepting. It’s like coming home after a long day. Like no matter what stress I go through, or what trouble I may have had, coming back to him is calming. It’s like everything washes away and I feel…..I feel *safe*. Like he isn’t going to leave me behind. Which…*pause*….ahah, that may sound silly since he has always been going out for days on end. Always leaving on a journey and leaving me to stay at the shop. But he always comes back. Asra always comes back.

Val: Y E S. There are a lot of things to be superstitious about like NADIA’S PET OWL. Does she not know about Lechuzas?! Cursed things.

Shadows: What are you afraid of? Why?

Val: Losing everything, again. Failing everyone. Disappearing into…into nothing, like when everyone forgets you and you just stop…stop existing.

Trees: What was your home like? The city or village that you lived in? 

Val: Visually? It was kind of tropical. Always hot, a lot of trees and plants, there was a sea nearby. It was nice to get lost in. But it wasn’t the best place. Resources were always low. The rich took care of themselves and the rest of us survived. Half of them were old fashioned, the other half were modern. Magic wasn’t…it wasn’t seen as a gift. It was a curse. And if you were cursed then you put everyone else at risk.
