Just stopping by to tell you how much I love your shyan fanfics. Your stories are all-consuming, and I especially enjoy the angst. (I have to confess I was a bit sad when I read the “no serious bodily harm will come to these characters we promise”-tag.🫣)
Looking through your blog I assume you’re primarily a Rhett and Link fan. Therefore I’m curious what made you start writing shyan fics? What pulled you into the ghoul boys fandom in general?

Thank you!!! First I wanna say, both Shyan fics and the last Rhink fic I worked on were co-written with @tripwirealarm. Credit goes hugely to them, because left to my own devices, I struggle to finish shit.

I have been a Rhett and Link fan more in the past than I am now. I still watch most GMMs, but I lost the spark.

What pulled me into the ghoul boys fandom in general: That'd be A. @tripwirealarm one day was watching BFU and I asked her "oh no you don't ship them do you?" and she said (and I quote) "I don’t really but it’s hard not to. Cut from laying in bed together in the dark bickering about wanting to use the jacuzzi tub to sitting in the tub together in trunks. Also the tall guy looks at the little guy like he invented happiness." (read: she said "No but also yes and in this essay, I will...") and B. they don't bitch about sharing drinks with each other and they actually know what pegging is THANK GOD, HOW REFRESHING. lmfao.
What made me start writing Shyan fics: @tripwirealarm
Or actually maybe it was me coming to @tripwirealarm being like "hey what if we did this short little one shot fic featuring the phrase 'standing o' in reference to ghosts giving them a 'standing ovation' and standing o sounding like it could also mean 'standing orgasm,' something something double entendre, and it turned into Simple Math because one thing is for damn sure, @tripwirealarm and I can't do short form.
