4, 5, 6 for the human ask game!
A (GW2) human ask game has appeared! 👤
Gonna go with Markus for this!
4. Do they have any particularly (in)famous or historically relevant ancestors?
Yup, and Markus is extremely proud of being their descendant!
His great-great-grandfather was born in Port Stalwart and ended up becoming a member of the Pride's crew, Cobiah's Marriner's famous ship, then died while fighting valiantly during the Risen's attack against Lion's Arch. His eldest daughter also became one of Cobiah's most trusted Lionguard, and her dedication to duty lives on in their family, as every Blake since has felt the call to serve and protect the city of Lion's Arch and its people.
[Names pending because I still haven't gotten around to properly writing this stuff down]

5. Which god do they revere/were they blessed by?
While not particularly religious, he grew up primarily worshiping Grenth and Dwayna due to his mother Nora, who said she never felt the Gods' presence until she found the strength to disown her family and live her own life. When he was a kid, a priestess claimed she felt a blessing of Melandru on him, and since then Nora made him say a little prayer to her as well. He figures that must be the reason why he's so in tune with animals, and while he's not grown more religious over time, he still does small acts of worship whenever he can.

6. How did they take Balthazar's betrayal?
While he never particularly cared about Balthazar, knowing what he had done and that Aurelia had faced him did impact him in some way. After witnessing and stopping various unrest and fights in the city that got ignited by religious tensions and the incoming mass of refugees and terrible stories, he insisted on being assigned to the security squad that tagged along on the airship that brought Aurelia to Elona. While he went back to Lion's Arch not long after helping escort the civilians to safety, he felt changed by what he'd seen, and it took him a while to properly elaborate it all and what Aurelia later told him of her meeting with Kormir. The fact that the Gods are not the perfect beings humanity often claimed them to be was the easiest pill to swallow, almost comforting in a roundabout way, but the fact that they could so easily come back to do such unspeakable things... he doesn't really want to think about it, and it made him wary of the blind devotion some still showed towards the other Gods.
