What is your favorite hobby?
Probably roleplaying and writing fiction. I’ve gotten into gif making. But I’ve never constituted anything I do as a hobby, so admittedly, I don’t even know if these would count.

[ Sending another one! ] What are you 3 or 4 favorite songs and why?
Music by Jojo from Mad Love. I’ve been a fan of hers for years. And I know how much it was a struggle to get to this moment and so to see an album and the music be good? It’s great. As for why I love it, you can tell it’s raw and her emotions. Plus, talking about her Dad makes me emotional.
All I Ask by Adele from 25 (including the cover that Bruno did). I’ve loved this song for over a year and it probably won’t ever change. I attach this song to a ship I loved and was sort of ended around this time but it just is like all of Adele’s music; I connect with it. I feel it. Even if I’ve never truly experienced it.
As for more songs, I’m sort of an album listener so it would be more songs from Mad Love/25 and while I have listened to 3 of Bruno’s new songs, I haven’t listened to the full 9 yet so I might love others more than them so I’ll hold off on that. For right now.

are you everything you've wanted to be?
Heck no.
I had a vision of my life, as we all do. And I thought I would be way more successful than I am. Not in a rich kind of way but sort of in a ‘I’m having an impact on the world or my state or my city’ kind of way. I also kind of thought I would have love and kids by now but no go in both areas but maybe that’s for the best. I have days where I wonder where the hell I went wrong and why this is my life but IDK. I guess I’ll figure it out eventually.
I wanted more for me but I can’t knock what I do have currently.

who was your first oc?
I guess it would depend on what you consider an OC.
If it’s just a character that’s made from scratch, it would probably have been a VHud FC that I can’t remember the name of.
But if you mean a character from anyone completely made up, even if in a source material kind of way, it would have been Vanessa Berry.
I used to RP in soap opera universe and on Invisionfree a while back (not really much to write home about) but it was always a character from the actual show. But it wasn’t until I found Tumblr and roleplaying on this platform that I tried to branch out and experiment with my roleplaying.

What was your favourite thing about Glee? (before they fucked it up)
The actors involved.
It was kind of clear that everyone involved, even if I disliked their characters, cared about the characters. Some probably got punished for seeing the better in their character than the creators but it really was good.
And I guess I would say the hope and feel of maybe the underdog wasn’t a lost cause. That they were someone and they mattered.
It’s kind of crazy to know that a show that had a good premise and lesson could turn into such a joke as it did in the end. But this was about the positive and the positive is that they impacted a lot of people’s lives ... for the better.

What are your favorite shows right now and why do you love them?
This Is Us, Pitch & Queen Sugar, bar none.
This Is Us is just good writing, better acting and as someone involved with the show (I can’t remember who said it) is missing from TV right now. Yeah, it’s sort of unrealistic in other parts but to be able to have a core cast and everyone get a POV and you UNDERSTAND it is so very important. I recommend it, if you aren’t watching already.
Pitch is probably my favorite out of the three. I’ve been aware of Kylie and her acting for a while now and she blows me away as the lead of this show. I feel everything that Ginny is going through. As for the show as a whole, like This Is Us, you understand everyone’s POV. There is not a part of this show that doesn’t feel left out. I have my favorites and not so favorites but even in saying that, I still can appreciate their presence. And it’s probably one of the more diverse shows out there. A black female lead, a half Asian male lead (cause MPG is not white), a STRONG black couple and their characters are even stronger in Blip & Evelyn, Eliot, Oscar, Livan and characters like Al and Amelia are not the norm but the exception. And it helps that Kylie has chemistry with everyone.
Queen Sugar is probably the underrated one out of the bunch. It’s on OWN and I just found out based off a book. But I love the story and I love the characters and I love the acting. It’s really good and it’s just nice to see a black show on TV and it be positive and not bullshit. Which is so important in today’s age.
