Sahra approached the two of them.
'Who you...?'
'What doing out here?'
'Mention 'ecology'?'
'What that?'
'Not understand you fancy words...'
The trainer perked up at the sight of the Absol, intrigued. She hadn’t ever seen one like Sahra before, and was very curious. But, just asking questions like that outa the blue was very random, and she was asked a question first.
“Hey there, my name is Carillon, and my companion's name is Nammu,” Carillon greeted Sahra, Nammu giving his own little wave of hello from his seat on the table. “Currently, I’m out here to relax, and to let my partners run around freely and explore the area themselves. I’ve been working a lot lately, and they deserve it.” Not that she was exactly ‘resting’ herself, but shhh, no one needed to know. Especially not anyone back at the academy. She did NOT need another lecture right now.
“No worries about not understanding what I said before, I’m happy to explain.” She gave the Absol a gentle smile. She’d gotten used to teaching after working alongside Jacq for so long, explaining this was almost second nature now. “Ecology basically means that I look at how Pokemon interact with other kinds of Pokemon and their environment. I look at where they live, and bring that information to people who make big decisions. That way they can decide things without harming the Pokemon who live in specific areas.” It was a very simple definition, but hopefully it got the point across.
“Actually, if you feel like sharing, I’d love to hear more about yourself. I’ve seen Absol a couple times, but never one like you! I assume you normally live in a more desert region, right? I hope you’re not too cold here. If you need anything just let me know, I've got a couple fire stones in here to help keep warm if you need them.”
