@ask-clancythecameraguy The boat crashed some weeks ago, Captain Wesker obviously hadn't made himself clear. It had cost her an entire ship crew, lives that could be replaced albeit if given time. Vlad and Mia were the last two on her radar, Mia would fend for herself. After such a catastrophic failure that would end up costing her thousands, she would sooner kill Mia herself if she was found alive. Vlad was who she had hoped to find along with answers as to where Eveline might be. Though before hand, she found someone else entirely. The floors creaked, ethereal moans and hissing kept her on guard. The corpses of the bakers walked amongst the living, even if they were only infected by Eveline. They were as good as dead by any definition of the word. Approaching a door she heard wimpering on the other side, uncomposed and panicked. Perhaps she had found Mia? It was as good a guess as any. Finding the door locked she sighed in frustration, every door was locked. Snake keys, bird keys, similar to the Spencer mansion in fact. Although this was a normal door, and she didn't possess a lock pick. Inconvenienced and unwilling to search she pulled her gun and shot the lock. The wood splintered and broke the mechanism holding the door shut, kicking the door in she glared into the darkness that greeted her. Taking her small flashlight from her front pocket she steadied her breathing and entered. The bright light shining into the room as she held her gun at the ready, if any infected attempted to attack. She would be ready.
