“What about gloves? They’re like socks but for your hands~” Alice giggled, playing with the cherry in her drink before popping it in her mouth, pulling the end of the string, tossing it in the glass. It was St George’s Day and the two English nations were having a bit of a night out. It had started out alcohol free really. But after Oliver thought a small drink couldn’t hurt, things started to spiral down.
It was a hilarious sight really; both of them were dressed well, in a bar, literally getting wasted to the point of intolerance. Alice had worn her hair in a single pigtail, her favourite black laced-sleeve blouse, a pair of dark grey trousers and spiked red heels laced up. Oliver wasn’t in his usual office wear either. He had on under a pink and black diamond patterned sweater vest over his usual white shirt with a mint blue tie, cream trousers and smart black shoes.
But both were red in the face, both looking extremely drunk.
“Another one!” Oliver hiccuped, throwing down another few pounds on the counter top, paying for another shot of whiskey and ale.
A few more drinks later and they were both stumbling out of the pub, both laughing hysterically and clinging onto each other. “What do we do now~?” Alice chimed, both of them stumbling onto a bench, both entangled in each other’s arms.
“Dunno, what do drunk people do~?” Oliver chimed after her, pulling her head on his shoulder. “Sex? Kiss? Be idiots?” he giggled, nearly falling off the bench.
Alice pulled him up by his collar, landing a quick, slightly sickly sweet and very intoxicated peck on the man’s lips. “I say we should go scare a few frogs~” She laughed, jumping up from the seat. “The night is still young! We have all the time in the world to get crazy.” She whispered, giving a cheeky wink, offering her hand. “Join me in Neverland.”
