Back in business baby!
There are some others but… these were the most memorable for me… @ask-firebender-allan @ask-waterbender-lukas @askfirebendergilbert @ask-firebender-romano Edit: I realised I spelt Sergeant wrong...
First, this is my father: Longwei Wang, a traitor to our nation. He used to be a highly ranked official in the same branch of military as I was; an obvious case of nepotism. For as long as I remember, he was an ass. I was his sole focus to make me a carbon copy of himself, strong in firebending prowess, lightningbending and a strong patriotic leader. He and my mother married not long before I was born. Since I was the eldest, he paid little attention to my younger siblings. He taught me everything I know about combat, strategy and discipline. But he betrayed the very thing he taught me when he betrayed the nation. I’m glad he’s gone from our family, but he needs to answer for his crimes. He’s why my family is suffering and why people are out for my arrest. It’s why I’m hunting him down.
This is my mother, Dima. She’s a waterbender originally from the northern water tribe. But she told me she moved due to their views on female waterbenders and combat. She’s anything but useless at combat.
She came to the Fire Nation a few years before she met my father and before I was born. She works as a general physician in our home town. Unlike my father, she loves us no matter what we can and can’t do like a mother should. In recent months, she and my father have been growing distant, I don’t think they love each other anymore...
Kiku is the second eldest in the family. He inherited mother’s waterbending and he wants to learn everything he can from her. I think this is because of how he saw father train me. Like mother, he’s always calm and collected. He and I share our love of tea.
He’s working with mother as a physician. When Leon, Yongsoo, Mei and I got injured when we were younger, he would be the one to help heal us when mother was busy. Father never like him since he was a waterbender but I don’t think Kiku thinks much of it now. He’s probably the most logical out of all of us, and probably one of the few who disagreed with me leaving to hunt down our father.
Leon is the middle child and the most problematic of us. He’s a firebender and with it, he has a fiery personality and temper.
Since Father’s betrayal and the reveal to the public that he was married to a waterbender, he’s gotten himself into his fair share of fights. When we were younger, he wanted to be as good as a firebender as I was at the time but father wouldn’t give him the time of day to train him, so I did. He got the scar on his cheek when I accidentally put too much force in our training. I think since father’s betrayal, he’s been gettign into more fights with people who spoke badly about both me and mother. Apart from me, I think he’s the one who want’s father caught most.
Yongsoo, the second youngest child. He’s a firebender but he acting like anything but. I think he realised pretty early on that father would never see him as anything but a disappointment so he’s constantly laid back, seemingly careless. I know he’s anything but. He’s been training like crazy on his firebending with Leon. Apart from that, he’s seen mostly lounging around in our estate garden.
And finally, Mei, the youngest sibling, the only female and only non-bender. She’s basically everything my father doesn’t look for in a child of his and growing up, it affected her pretty badly. She would constantly be sad or locked up in her room because she didn’t want to face father. Eventually, with the help of our other siblings and mother, she decided to train herself in gymnastics and chi-blocking and I have to say, she is a fast learner and a formidable fighter. Even with the advantage against her when we spare, she wins more often than not. Though, she despised conflict.
Outside of sparing, she hates getting into arguments and fights. When the incident happened with our father, she curled up in the next room and said nothing, even when I was leaving to find him. if anyone in the family needs protection, it’s her.
Hunting down that bastard...
*Music plays in the background.*
Usually, I only dance with Mei when I'm off duty. I’m not used to dancing without her.
Yao as a dancer. Not many people know this but Yao dances with Mei. He doesn’t keep it a secret but he doesn’t make a big deal out of it. He used to perform with Mei when he was off duty.
Usually, Huoxin stays at home just in case my family need to contact me or in case of any emergencies...
My family do send me a letter every now and then though.
