MOD: Preview of the update I'm currently working on. You can tell that my art is very different from the last big update, reason being I'm not the same person! JK, I'm still novi. Will this feature a cameo? No, no it will not, there are not many ponies on at the same time. That and I'm also out of normal looking ones, I'm saving the flashy pones for special occasions. If you want a feature, submit your character here, even if they're not a pony, I'll make them one.

Some commentary on this update. 

I draw the whole thing on paper before I actually do a digital version of it. Its probably not the best way to take care of it, but I've got the idea about how it works now, so it's all digital from here on in.

So lets talk about these pages:

The first page in the comic is one of the most important things, you have to catch attention of your readers and make it interesting. I tried to capture the feeling to the whole chapter in one picture, and I think it turned out well. Twilight is just doing her thing, Fluttershy is being her normal "motherly" self towards Mr. Changeling here, and he's kind of... just... tired, cause he's not very good at keeping his form, so all his energy is being used on keeping the form.

My favorite page in the update. I actually thought about how to introduce Pinkie for the looooongest time. She's a very hyper character, and "all over the place" literally, like everywhere at once, or is she moving fast? I can never keep up. RD's intro is in a round panel, the idea came from her being a pegasus, she's connected to the wind element, and I thought a round shape matched the "windy" feeling.

This page introduces my second favorite, Applejack. I can't say this page is all that great though, but it does have a panel that was influenced by my friend and fellow ask blog askiceling's art. (hint: its the panicking Fluttershy panel)

Another Pinkie page, she really does steal the show huh? "PINKIE THIS IS MY ASK BLOG!" So This page has Pinkie jumping out of a Panel, and Applejack trying to hide a secret from everyone, I wonder what it is. Actually she's modeling for Rarity, I don't think I'll be touching on this anymore. I also did something I'm gonna try to use more often, the cartoony reactions and actions, what I'm talking about is AJ's response to Rarity almost mentioning her modeling, and then the quick run away with smoke. 

I'm sure you've all noticed that my sketches don't really match the final comic. I added lots of background. This page is very, very simple, its just a moving page. We're changing scenes from the train station, to Twilight walking off to her tree Library, to the edge of town, and then Fluttershy's Cottage.

The final page. This page  took forever to finish. The cottage in the sketch and the final don't match. I ended up fixing a ton of mistakes on this last one too. The close up to the door was also just a close up to the already existing top cottage panel. 

There is a little more in the works, something to finish this chapter, introduce my story, and then something special for the in between.
