yuta fidgets under ingo’s intense gaze. it’s always hard to explain.

“er, i aim to help the troubled spirits of people and pokemon pass on, to be more exact. spirits that you can’t see as opposed to ghost-type pokemon. though sometimes there are more, um... malevolent spirits - yokai, i suppose - that may try to harm people, so my job is also to exorcise them, if needed,” they begin to ramble, not looking directly at ingo but rather around him. “the, um, ‘side effect’ comes from... an ability i have that helps with that job...”

yuta glances to the side then, looking sheepish. this is usually where they start to lose people.

“i-i don’t really notice when it happens, but when my eyes glow, it’s usually when i’m trying to... communicate with spirits? like, i’m letting them enter my mind or something...” they trail off, realizing how odd they must sound. “i-it’s kinda complicated, but if you know anyone who could use my services, please let me know!”
