Beethoven wandered his old home in Bonn. The fact that it was now a museum filled with people made it hard for him to visualize the few fond memories he had of the place. He looked at his belongings, artefacts from his old life. Part of him wanted to take some of his things back to his home, but he knew that they were the public's now. He was officially dead after-all. He wandered the museum idly, vainly hoping that no-one would recognise his resemblance to the portraits of him plastered on nearly every surface.
//Hei. So a few people have asked me about changing my URL to Ludwig van Baethoven, and I'm going to reply as honestly as I can. Despite my joking on the topic, and my slightly eeeeeeh reblogging habits, I will not change this blog's URL. I am trying to let Herr Beethoven keep the respect he deserves (see 'trying', I do fail sometimes, regretfully). I feel that while it is a fun joke, to change the URL would send a definite message about the nature of the blog. I may, on that note, change my main, semi-personal blog's URL (currently askluddy) to this, but this is because it is sort of an almost crack!Beethoven blog. This is also sort of disrespectful (sorry Herr Beethoven) but at least its purpose is clear as a definite joke. I am sorry if I have implied that anyone is disrespecting Herr Beethoven, because I also find the Baethoven joke funny, but it is just not right as this blog's URL. I've been thinking of changing my URL, as a search on my tag gets a bunch of APH Germany blog posts as a result. My new tag will be my new URL without spaces. I'll decide on a URL soon.
