Watching the Stupid-looking girl chew out her servants, Cyniel observed as they loosened the man's cravat. 'Right...' he thought, glancing at Lemmy, 'Forgot some people needed more oxygen than others. -- Well, on to more important stuff.'
"Hey, hey! Is it okay if I try some of that?" The boy asked Mistreil, pointing to the Mushroom Gratin in front of her. As the girl nodded slowly, Goo and his date had joined them at the table. 'Tsk. Great, more people -- which means I can't just leave her depressed. I have to be the one to cheer her up. All she has to do to be happy is follow me.'
Picking up a spoonful of gratin, Cyniel opened the girl's mouth and put the spoon in. "It tastes good, right? The chef made it for you, so you should try some of it!" It seemed to snap her slightly out of her depression and confusion.
"You know, it's okay to mourn and all, but you should appreciate what's still around! Like food! I'm sure the deceased wouldn't want you to be sad!" Cyniel grinned, and upon noticing her hair in disarray, he pulled off the hair tie. "It's a pain to put a ponytail back up, so down is okay too! It looks super elegant!"
Mistreil smiled a bit and nodded, visibly confused at what was going on, but she didn't usually act much on her thoughts. She'd probably just go in circles in her thoughts anyhow. 'Now that that's over with... She probably won't talk for a bit. Next is... to stop people from talking to her for a bit! Leaning on the table a bit, the boy removed his mask. It was pointless to wear, and having it off would just make Mistreil think more.
"Goo!" He exclaimed, welcoming the man and his date, "I'm glad to see you here! Is that your date? She's cute! Is your super-duper-expensive suit working its charm on her?"
Mistreil waved a bit at Yuujin, though Cyniel tried to take some attention away from her. The only thing he could do was try to fluster the pair and make them the topic of conversation. They were the only things that he couldn't account for. He didn't know what Goo's date would say, and the last thing he needed was for Mistreil to make a friend who wouldn't turn her into an emotional mess. He figured the murderer wasn't going to say anything, and if he did, it would be okay if it upset the girl some more. As for Lemmy... he was out cold. If he did wake up, he'd probably just deal with Mr. Ogrekill.
