Did they have a good childhood? What are fond memories they have of it? What’s a bad memory?
Most of her childhood was spent trying to impress her parents. She was pushed into excelling at a lot of things and taught to value results above all else, so she became very competitive at a young age and had a lot of trouble making friends. Most of her life from there on was severely micromanaged for a time until she was nearly through secondary schooling, when a lot of restrictions mysteriously became rather relaxed. She was abandoned at age 17 in a strange city and cut off from family resources. Her fondest memories include trips to the library with her mother as a young child since she wasn’t as restricted in reading material as she was in other things.
