Linda raises an eyebrow. “Motive? I dunno, what do you think my motive is for collecting them? You honestly make it sound like there needs to be some deep reason to be allowed to collect them.”

She places her hand on her hip and grins as she holds up her necklace by one of the mega stone with her thumb and index finger. “If you really need to know what these do for me, their mementos of the battles I’ve had with the mons they belonged to. And I guess it tells the smarter pokemon to not try and pick a fight with me.” She lets go of the stone to let the necklace drop back onto her chest.
