Tucker was lost and miserable. It was pouring rain outside. He was cold and tired. And hungry. And desperately wanting his sister. The tiny piebald boy curled up under some wide, thick leaves on the ground. His body shivered and trembled from the wet cold.

Relax, I'm not gonna mess with your friends- they're actually really cool.
*YAWNS* THANKS BUT UH- ROAM KIND OF WALKED OFF. I DON’T THINK SHE HEARD YOU OR WOULD BELIEVE YOU... OR CARES..?
Yo! How's it going there?
“HELLO EVERYONEEE!! WE’RE DOING GOOD!!”
“We’re best friends!! The best-est!!!”[Frisk gives you a thumbs up.]
*...you seem different from the other mes I've met.
*And you seem about the same as all the other mes I’ve met...but shoe less. Are you a hobo or something?
The air felt heavy all around. The few outside visitors that had decided to stay, despite all the craziness that had been happening, took a few steps to the side to let the small group of kids deal with the heavy bomb that had just been dropped. No one uttered a word.
For a moment, it truly felt like... the void.
Terry, Nala's father, spoke up first, stooping down to Nala's level. He placed a hand on her shoulder, his other brushing the bangs from her face so they could really see eye to eye.
"Your mother and I have always told you that you could tell us anything. That meant anything. Even-" He took a shaky breath, "Even this."
"As hard as it may be to think about, I agree." One of Sam's mothers, Max, chimed in. Most of the other parents nodded in agreement.
"You- We were all having such a good time." Sam said rather quietly, voice muffled by his raised bandanna.
Momo still wouldn't look up to meet her parents gaze, entertaining herself, it seemed, with Cisza's expression instead. "We didn't want you to be upset. It's complicated."
"Then explain it." A few of the parents piped up together. Cisza's eyes wandered to his father's face, Ciel almost actually looked upset.
Julie wrapped her arms around her mother, her face buried in her leg. Jade scooped her up, despite the tear stains she was leaving on the front of her dress, and shushed her lightly.
"I'm sorry. I'm really, really sorry." she said, voice trembling.
It seemed to set off a chain reaction, Nala rubbing her eyes harshly, Roy sniffling, even Cisza's brows furrowing deeply.
Each set of parents embracing their own, they whispered comforting words. Explanations could wait, for now they just held on tight.
"I should have just told you." "I'm sorry, I really am."
"We love you, more than you can imagine."
