8. stuck in an elevator6. "That's disgusting!"

Maggie sighed wearily as she sat in the corner of the elevator - it had become wedged between floors, effectively trapping herself and the female Variant inside; Bo was trying to force the doors open while Maggie contemplated if crawling onto the roof of the car would be prudent or not.

Deciding it couldn't hurt, she scaled up the corner, punching the trapdoor open and eased herself up, only to be nearly knocked back to the floor of the elevator by the pungent smell of death and decay from the rotted corpse wedged between the car and the shaft, "Ugh...that's disgusting." she murmured, doing her best to hold her breath as she hoisted herself up the rest of the way, glancing up at the doors above, "Oi...we'd be better off escaping this way, Bo - come up."

13. A kitten (Oh my gosh! ;w;)

"Hey, Bo!" Raden ran towards his new found friend, smiling and waving while holding his crumpled shirt in his arm. "Hey, Bo Bo! There is someone who wants to meet you!"  Carefully taking his shirt away, a stray hungry kitten looked at her with big blueish eyes. "This is my new feline friend. I think it is a boy…but I’m not quiet sure. Uhm, anyway…we are friends now, right? And what could be better than a gift? Also…if you have him I will visit you more often…" He blinked a few times, puppy eyed look. "So, what do you say, Bo? Friends? :3"

"Hey, sleepyhead~! :3"

Awake with a start, Luke clutched his chest as he shot up. His breathing was heavy and his eyes stung as his heart pounded in his ears. The night terrors were getting worse and he was on the verge of breaking down. That was until he saw Bo though. Lying there in his makeshift bed right beside him, he could recognize the feeling of their legs still tangled together as well. Breathing calming ever so slowly, Luke lay back down shaking and slid his arms around the woman’s  waist to hug her close like a comforting stuffed toy. “Sorry about that.” He mumbled, barely even feeling the wetness on his cheeks.

It seemed he’d never even heard her come in and settle herself with him that night. Although in hindsight he was a heavy sleeper so it wouldn’t have been that difficult to sneak in. Luke was actually glad she had as well.
