babe i’m in love w LYIHTL but since it hasn’t been updated yet, i’d just like to know if you have recs for similar stories? i need to quench my thirst while waiting 😔

A personal favourite of mine is A Hundred Percent Human by @wrienne. They've built their own world of hybrids that I find wonderfully unique, and each character feels of their own in a way I only wish I could achieve in my writing

Not gonna lie-- sometimes I forget I even have this account!

I'm doing moderately well; I'm in my fourth year of university now and hoping to graduate by the end of the winter 2025 term. While the workload is certainly no stem degree's worth, I do get overwhelmed from time to time... I used to write fanfiction as a way of winding down (or procrastinating, ha!) but now I don't feel like I have that luxury as much as I did during the peak of the pandemic

I'm so sorry for not updating in so long! I have so many ideas constantly churning in my mind and so many projects that I need to continue... I still remember all the directions and character progressions for each character in LYIHTL, but I am finding it so hard to put pen to paper these days 🌙

I am alive! I am much more active on my main blog (sfw kpop ff but not bts), but I try not to connect these two accounts since the type of fanfiction I write here is quite niche/taboo. Since many people are against/find hybrid aus uncomfortable, I have not linked my main anywhere here, nor vice versa. (I also go by a different name on that account.)

Unfortunately my writing speed does not hasten with begging or asking for updates! Comments on chapters, though; telling me what parts you liked, screaming about the characters, etc — those are always encouraging! 🌙

Wdym the plunge of activity? Like accounts interacting with your blog or with the story? I think the story’s wonderful and I love reading it please don’t feel down by the number of notes I also think it has something to do with how much people follow the author and what’s popular in the tags that are tagged in that post because I had the same thing happen to me when I used to write on here years ago! I also think it sometimes has to do with certain readers waiting around for certain members because I swear the first chapter was always the one with the most interaction and then it mellowed down until a certain member’s part showed up and then all of a sudden there were more likes on the rest of the previous chapters trying to catch up with what was going on😂😂

I don't really have content on this blog other than lyihtl so I guess both go hand in hand? I'm not really put off by it that much, I just wanted to post lyihtl on ao3 so that more people will be able to access it if the tumblr ios rules affect visibility.

I do agree with the first post/certain members thing... part 1 is definitely the top in terms of interaction even though the prologue was posted first. I'm not hung up on it though
