Can I ask what the son of the destroyer AU is about?

Son of the Destroyer is a small au I came up with centering around Mild Spice Cookie, my oc who’s the son of Burning Spice Cookie. He was made to be a beast of destruction just like him, but he’s reluctant to take up the role

He’s unsure if this is a destiny he wants

What is Mild Spice's Culture Inspiration?

He's inspired from Burning Spice himself, who's based on Shiva, the Hindu god of destruction, so I would say they're based on the same culture. Since he's meant to be as close to his father as possible, and Burning Spice is the sole parent, he has nearly identical features (eyes, hair, outfit styling, etc), albeit with minor differences.

However, his melee spear is where I took some unique inspiration from the culture.

The design is based on Vel, a divine spear wielded by Kartikeya (or Murugan), the Hindu god of war. Specifically, I used these as reference for the shape of the tip.

As for the rest of the details of the spear, such as the diamond and star shapes, those are taken from Burning Spice's own weapon, his parashu.

Looked into the weirdo meditation thing, ended up asking myself. Apparently it isn’t a fetish thing and Juliet never meant it in that way.

I understand why people assumed it was fetish content, but I’m pretty sure this is a case of a minor not realizing what they’re doing can be deemed inappropriate.

I don't believe this is an autistic interest. As someone who is both autistic myself and in a community of other neurodivergent people, it's a bit offensive to assume this level of obsession is simply the result of autism. Asking many people of which you don't personally know to draw something specific completely unprompted crosses the line from hyperfixation to fetish (an excessive and irrational devotion or commitment to a particular thing). But even as a minor myself, I was not compelled to do something like this. Meant as a fetish or not, Juliet did admit this was an obsession. The autistic part is assumed at best on their part. And it still isn't right to rope people into an obsession without their knowledge in order to feed it. That still qualifies as fetish mining, even if it isn’t sexual. It doesn't have to be sexual be considered such.

Even if it is just a minor not fully understanding their inappropriate behavior, it should not just be ignored and swept under the rug. The callout post was made to bring awareness and inform those who may think this was innocuous that it was instead feeding into this person's meditation obsession. I also hope this will encourage Juliet to stop their inappropriate behavior since they are now aware that it is not safe for a minor to do these things.
