Q20: Which author would you like to interview?

Well, there are plenty of authors to interview but the author I would like to interview would be Walter Moers. I've always been fascinated by how creatively well he writes. How does he come up with these stories that seem like children's stories but captures more of the adult audience. His creative way of writing food and certain settings that seem whimsical. I always liked reading books like those; Zany and quirky stories. He also draws these characters. The whole package of creative writing and illustrations in one, fascinates me, and wish I had that type of skill.

This is one of my favorite illustrations he draws in his story. To me it looks so inviting.

Q18: What book do you wish you could gift your younger self?

It would have to be the Walter Moers books, though these books are of German language, I have had the English version. I've kept one, but I will probably collect the rest again because I enjoyed his books and his drawings, and I know my younger self would love them as well.

Q29: Which library around the world would you go visit first before you die, and what makes it special to you?

There is library that looks as if its outdoors with plants and the floor are like cobblestones and supposedly its in Uruguay. I saw someone post a picture of it a long time ago on pinterest but I don't know the name of it. I have been trying to look for it and its a library that I loved to go visit.

Q30: Whats your ideal book to read on a rainy day?

A coffeehouse mystery by Cleo Coyle. I always thought those books are so fun to read on a cozy couch with a blanket and in the background you can hear thunder and rain. It makes it all more mysterious!

Q21: Are you good at guessing plot twists?

A little bit, like with easy books I can guess. With longer ones, it can get like a yes, no, or maybe.

Q22: What book character reminds you of yourself?

Oh right now would be Vin from Mistborn, in a sense that she questions her ability and herself. I can relate.

What as an essential element of a good book?🤔

One of the essential elements of a good book for me is:

1. Catches my attention that I don't want to put the book down.

2. Emotions, if the story can make me cry, laugh, ect., then thats essential.

3. I can relate to the characters.

4. Makes me feel like I am really there.

There is more but I think for me these are the best ones.

What are you currently reading?

I've been currently reading Mistborn: Well of Ascension, a favorite of mine because it has mystery in it, especially about the mist! My favorite parts are with Sazed. I enjoy this Keeper because he seems wise and curious, got himself into a mess in one part, made me chuckle, thats what he gets for being curious! Haha! I do love all the characters except Elends' dad. Definitely don't like him!

26: I generally try not to judge by a cover I look for the blurb ;). Although if the cover looks good that always helps.

28: I will admit some books I just haven’t been sold on and just can’t read. Although that being said there’s nothing stopping me revisiting them in future. But if I’m intrigued enough and I get sucked in enough I’ll try to finish a book. There’s also not been many books especially in my preference of genre that I haven’t enjoyed. Which is generally teen/some young adult fiction like Rick Riordan, Anthony Horowitz, Derek Landy etc if you were wondering. 😄

"Thanks for that book you bought for me, I've finished it already" Vio said with a small smiled, the book clutched in his hands. The hero yawned deeply, he had gotten much sleep because he was reading most nights.

Shadow nodded with a smile, closing his eyes. In a lot of ways, Shadow was like a cat. He closed his eyes and purred when he was content. He hissed when he was angry. When he was upset, his feathers ruffled like a cat’s tail would bottlebrush. “Did you enjoy it?” He asked, knowing Vio could read through a book he didn’t like.
