Flying Away

If it wasn't already painfully obvious, I've stopped RPing on this account... and for that, I'm very sorry.

Rather than letting you all go without a proper sendoff, I came back to tell you... I love all of you guys. Every single one of you. I've been in the WIR fandom since the movie came out, and I've had this account just as long. I've seen friends come and go, and have made news ones... and I just want to let you know:

Even if I never RPed with you or spoke to you, you following me was enough. I knew that you cared about my muse and you found him cute/interesting- what have you.

So, it's with a heavy heart that I say I'm off to join the ranks of those who have also gone- vanellope-von-awesome and gonna-wreck-it.

I will miss you all dearly, and I wish you the best.

"AM NOT AN- oh, forget it..." He let out a metallic sigh, looking between the two of them. "Cannot help with fixing ship. Am not meant to fix things, actually... most Cybugs not very good." He scratched at his head, looking away from the two of them shyly. "Can try to help, but don't want to hurt machine." Skitters looked at the man directly. "Machine is alive, like me. Can sense it." He placed a claw on the console and stoked it gently, smiling.

The Doctor glanced over his shoulder at the little Cybug. “That’s right,” he said, frustration fading slightly. “She is alive. Except right now she’s acting up and I don’t know why.” The Doctor flashed a small smile at the Cybug, the first Rose had seen since the TARDIS had started ‘acting up’. “You won’t hurt anything,” he said. “You’re similar. She likes you.” A curious look passed over the Doctor’s expression. “Crawl under the console there and see if you can find anything you consider… off.”

He smacked a metal claw onto his face, exasperated with these humans. "Am not beetle, am not spider! Am /Cybug!/" He pointed to himself dramatically. "And box not fixed yet because man being rude and testy and sent me to find you! So, lets go! Now!" He turned around and started heading back to the console room. "Er... please?" He added, turning back to look at her. "Come now, yes?"

“Fine, fine! Blimey, the maintenance bugs have as much attitude as the box.” Rose followed the little Cybug back to the console room and set the books down with an exasperated huff. “There, Doctor, I brought your weapons. What now?”

“Why don’t you read them and tell me?” the Doctor snapped around the sonic screwdriver clamped between his teeth, fingers busying themselves with the sizzling wires. “The metal ant can help you.”

"A-Am not beetle! Fine! Will go find girl. Fix machine!" he replied, scuttling away. If he could roll his eyes, he would've... At least the man called him smart. Fortunately, it didn't take him long to find the blonde woman. He tapped her on the back of the leg. "Rude man wants you. Needs your help! No time explain!" He quickly moved in front of he and started nudging her towards the console room. "Said something about falling out of universe. Sound bad!"

Rose yelped as something distinctly pointy, metal, and moving jabbed the back of her calf. “Wha— Hold on—” She glanced down, around the stack of books balanced carefully in her arms, and noticed the thing jabbering up at her. “‘Rude man,’ that does sum him up, doesn’t it?” she scoffed. “Sends me to the library for ‘weapons’ and then sends a metal spider after me when I’m not back in five seconds… What are you, then? TARDIS maintenance bug? Why isn’t this bloody box fixed yet?”

The little Cybug sputtered, looking up at the man as if he had suddenly grown two heads. "How find girl in place like this? Just got here! Find yourself!" He replied testily, sitting down and crossing his front pair of legs. "Or, could tell me where 'down that passageway' leads." He didn't mean to sound rude, but this man was asking him to go bumbling around in a strange place all by himself, without a map! "Can work on... whatever that is later! You help find her!"

“Oi!” the Doctor piped. “I can’t ‘work on this later,’ the TARDIS is minutes from falling completely out of this universe and into negative space. You look like a smart little cybernetic beetle, put two and two together and realize that that’s not good.” The panel shot sparks again. “That passageway leads to a blonde named Rose Tyler. Go on, find her!”

"Do-door was open, sir." He responded shakily. "Wanted to see what inside. Is very... strange." He gestured to the rest of the room with his front pair of legs. "How fit big room in tiny box?" He inquired, moving over to where the Doctor was working. "Seem very... annoyed. Is missing something?" He could sense it coming off of the man in waves, and hopefully it wasn't directed at himself...

“It’s bigger on the inside,” the Doctor spat. The TARDIS ceiling panel he was working on suddenly shot sparks, drawing a particularly violent curse word from the Doctor’s throat. “I’m not missing anything,” he grumbled and pulled a chunk of sizzling wiring out of the panel. “She’s wandered off again! Tell you what, you’re here, might as well put you to use. Go find a blonde human. Somewhere down that passageway, probably complaining. Hurry up.”

Startled once again, this time by a sudden voice, Skitters quickly scurried behind the pilot seats. He waited a moment before making his four eyes glow brighter- the man did say he needed a light, didn't he? "H-Hello? Who you? What this place?" He chittered quietly, walking out from behind the chairs and looking up at the man, wondering where he came from so suddenly. He had a very intimidating, commanding aura about him...

The Doctor craned his neck around to peer at the little cybug scurrying along the floor of the TARDIS. He was wearing a harness, hanging from one of the coral-like support beams and trying to fix whatever had gone wrong with his ship. “Oi, you,” he snapped at the bug. His patience was terribly thin and growing thinner the longer it took Rose to return from wherever she’d swanned off to. “What the hell are you doing here?”

((Late reply!)) The little Cybug was startled when the doors flung open, but not afraid; it was just a box, right? He looked around before entering cautiously, taking in the new scenery. It was... bigger on the inside! "Amazing!" He chirped to no one, his voice echoing off the curved walls of the room. There didn't appear to be anyone inside... but he was sure he saw two people come in earlier. Oh well! He walked over to the console, looking at the various buttons and dials with interest.

A loud crash thundered close by, the sound of metal grating against metal so sharp it threatened to burst a hole in the sound barrier. “Oi!” a voice, all frustration and Northern burr, shouted from somewhere in the direction of the lofty, shadowed console room ceiling. “Rose, where did you run off to? I need a light! A torch, a flare, a fire, something, I don’t care, just something.”
