At the motion that Jack suddenly took, a peculiar expression appeared on her face. It was a mix between fear that Jack would hurt himself and the joy of actually scaring him enough to tumble off the roof. She took a few steps toward his body just as he jumped up. She crossed her arms and perked a curious brow at him. "Want to tell me why you were on my roof?"
“Uhh….” a small lapse of silence hung in the air between them as the snow sprite slowly gathered his bearings and pieced together a somewhat intelligible response, pale fingers lifting to card through wind tousled locks subconsciously. “I, uh — I was checking for a leak! Y’know, incase it rains. I didn’t want you to get wet.”
Yeah, that sounded believable… enough.
