[He hesitates for only a second, crawling onto Mis' lap like so many times before] Mis. [He looks up and smiles, hugging him tight and hiding his face against his hoodie] I missed you!
Jack beams at him, and hugs him tightly in return, rubbing his face against the boy's hair. "I missed you, too, kiddo. Whatcha been up to, huh?"
*beams, wrapping his arms around his neck and holding onto him* Hi, Mis! I missed you!
[Jack embraces him tightly and lifts him off the ground.] I missed you too, kiddo. How have you been?

He shrugged the best he could, opening his eyes to peek up at Mis. "Dunno! The magic person didn't give me a time." His tail wagged a bit. "I think it'll end soon, though. I have that feeling."
"Well, that wasn't very cool of them." Chuckling, he ruffled Cracky's hair and gently brushed over his ears, curious but cautious. "Think you'll miss 'em when they're gone?"
Cracky let out a sound closely resembled to a purr, leaning into his touch more than before. "I dunno," He hummed, eyes falling shut as he relaxed. "I guess they just wanted me to wear it, sometimes people are weird like that."
Finally realizing what he was doing, Jack paused, but quickly moved to start properly petting his hair, scritching behind the new ears.
"Weird, definitely," he agreed, nodding solemnly. "How long are you... foxy?"
"Mmmhmmm, the Alpha of our wolf pack." Cracky leaned towards where his hand was unconsciously, ears twitching again. "Really? It's kinda weird sometimes, especially with my tail. I haven't learned how to control it much." His nose wrinkled. "Yeah, the collar was really dumb. It jingled each time I moved a bit! That was annoying."
"Oohhhh," Jack said, nodding. He started mindlessly scratching at Cracky's scalp, glancing to his ears every now and then, fascinated. "It's really fluffy," he observed, gently stroking near the tip. "Why'd it have a bell? That does sound annoying. It's not like anyone needs to keep track of you."
Cracky's cheeks went pink, embarrassed by how he looked. "I got a dumb magic anon and now I'm a fox boy." He grumbled, hiding his face behind his hands. "Someone even put a collar with a BELL on me yesterday and I didn't know how to get it off! I had to ask Luke to bite it off for me!"
"Luke?" Jack asked evenly, and gently set a hand on Cracky's head, between his ears--just in case. "I think it kinda suits you, just surprised me," he said with a smile. "Proooobably don't need a collar, though."
Cracky huffed, crawling onto his lap; ears twitching a bit as he laid there. "Hi Mis." He finally said after stayed quiet for a few seconds, tail swishing.
Surprised and amazed, Jack was quiet as Cracky got settled, his eyes on the ears that matched his little brother’s hair. “Hey, kiddo,” he greeted quietly, smiling. “Nice ears,” he teased lightly. “They match your—tail.” He stared at the tail for a moment before snapping out of it. “So, uh. How’d that happen?”
