You know how cats and dogs will get along, and then they have little spats when boundaries are crossed or one does something the other doesn’t like, but they both know the amount of force they should put in so the other knows to stop? Imagine that with Akashi and Nasus. Sitting somewhere and Akashi says something and Nasus just puts his hand over Akashi’s face like no, or Nasus does something and Akashi just stairs and shows the claws (spirit sword) They like each other but try really hard to make it look like they just tolerate each other. Dossier On: Nasus, the Curator of the Sands

The stars have given me insight into the being known as Nasus, a once-man that became an ascended demi-god from the deserts of Shurima. An icon of an empire long gone.

Wise and learned, he offers knowledge and guidance to those with willpower and patience.

It is for this reason he must be watched, lest his benevolence be mistaken for a quick route to power. He failed to sense the true motives of the heart once; a failure to do so again could mean more than just the collapse of his home.

There is a lot to be said about Nasus’ wisdom. In the first nights that follow after the birth of Sivir’s first child, where neither parent really quite knows what the baby wants, Nasus gives the parents rest by taking the baby for night time strolls. He sings to the child with his soothing voice, and it always puts the new princess right to sleep. Nasus may not be of Sivir’s blood, but he is undoubtedly the child’s uncle.
