hello! im attempting to use your theme "Theme 10: Shun Kaido" and everything else seems to be working just fine, except for the navigation/social media section. The option to enable it in the theme setup settings is not there at all.
I did the "reset to default tumblr theme" method many times, and have even gone to check the code itself (i have very limited html knowledge). It seems like something is preventing it from showing up, since i do see the actual coding for that section in the html. but i just can't figure out what's messing with it being visible.

Hi Anon! Thanks for letting me know and thank you for elaborating your concern to me. Really appreciate it. You can read the answer below as it is quite a lengthy answer.
So I check my theme to see what it seems to be the problem and I think I know why. You see, to make the navigation tab to appear, you need to have at least one link at the navigation section. You can learn on how to add the page from question 14. It is crucial for you to toggle the [Show a link to this page] for the link to appear and henceforth, make it the navigation tab to appear.
For example, if you untoggle it like what you've seen from the image below:
the navigation will not appear like you've seen here:
Nevertheless if you do toggle it,
Your Navigation will appear:
All-in-all, you need to have at least one link to make the navigation to appear.
Extra: So what if you do not have any link but only want to utilise the social media links?
There two ways to approach this
Make one of your social media links to be that 'one link' in order to trigger the navigation tab to appear; OR
Tweak the code.
For number 2, assuming that you do not touch any code beforehand, go to Line 1420* and Line 1422*. Remove the {block:HasPages} and {/block:HasPages} as what I've highlighted below:
So what this tells us here is that by removing the said code, the Navigation Tab will appear regardless whether you have that one link or not. However, the downside of this option is that if you do not have any link (neither by using the [+add a page] system or even the social media links), the navigation tab will still appear regardless.

what icons/icon group does the shun kaido theme use? i would like to change some of the icons but i can't find the source anywhere in the code
Hi! Apologies for the very late reply. The icons that I used for that theme would be Boxicons!
I forgot to add this but anything that that starts with "bx" is the clear indication of the codes for the icons. For example, bxs-heart in HTML refers to the heart icon. Simply replace the necessary icons according to your preference.
Edit: Once you've changed your icon in HTML, don't forget to also replace it in your css!

Anyway, I'm sure you now know where does the name, age, zodiac and birthday appear. But in case you still haven't figure it out, you can find it at your [About]'s section:
You can change to other inputs that you want. Ie, instead of your zodiac, you can add your pronoun (if you have any etc).
Also, I'M HAPPY that you are using this theme for your first time. I hope you won't find it too difficult to customise it. Lmk if you have any problem, I'll see what I can do. But do expect a late reply if you ask questions on weekdays since I will only answer it on the weekends.
does changing the background image of a theme count as a drastic change? specifically, i'm using your Ward Legacy theme and i want to change the theme's background, but nothing else outside of that

Hmm, interesting question! It makes me ponder for a while to reflect back if I ever encounter any unappreciative people.
Fortunately, no :) This is true especially whenever I worked with my followers who won the giveaways about their requested themes. All of them are very kind, supportive and very understanding whenever I work on their requests. They never demand anything impossible.
Even the respondents who responded to my survey are also very kind hearted - they took the chance to compliment my work and never in any of their responses had they ever dissed me. So I'm grateful for that. Even if they did, I only think of it as a constructive criticisms since they did justify the 'diss.'
As such, I never really feel like I'm doing too much for them (though writing guidelines for my themes can be quite tough XD).
What about you? Have you ever feel like you're doing too much for those kind of people?
Hello Phantasy Reigen! I am using your Theme 12: Sugarcoated and love how the multicolumn layout looks for my photo-heavy content! <3 I often add text & tags though and it's a bit akward how post are broken up in the multicolumn layout - post with pictures at the end of a column often breaks into two pieces, with text, notes&date and tags ending up in the next column. Is there a way to prevent this? Thank you in advance <3

So answering your question, unfortunately, that's not something that I can control because CSS can be quite weird at times :') I use column instead of masonry/grid/flex so I guess that's the effect of it.
Though this may not be the best permanent solution, maybe your can try 'preventing' the post from breaking by adjusting the amount of posts per page? You can change it at your customize page and scroll down to the [Advanced options] to change your posts per page as per below screenshot:

Hey Anon! To answer your question, unfortunately, it is not possible to use Raeliana without the JavaScript as to have the pop up effect, you need to use that jQuery script.
However, what you can do now is to apply for an exemption through support. When going through the form, at the [Choose a category for support], select [Customizing Your Tumblr] and write for your exemption.
Here's a template that you can use when applying for an exemption:
Hi Staff, I'm [name], the owner of [your main blog]. I would like to apply for an exemption to be able to use JS for my blog as the custom pages that I use heavily relies on JS. I hope you can approve this exemption of mine. Those blogs are: [list down the username of your blogs]. Thank you.
From my experience, it doesn't take more than 24 hours to approve my request. Hopefully, the same applies to you. Sorry if I can't help you further 🥺

Hi Anon! Thanks for reaching me out. For your information, the theme is still accessible for public and I've just checked from my end, and the blog is still working.
From what I read from the internet, the reason why it says 'site cannot be reached' may be because of your internet connection or maybe because Tumblr is being weird again? Even so, you can consider waiting a few minutes or hours before accessing the blog again.
