Hello Felix,
I fear there is a rat potentially living in my personal library. I have found droppings and teeth marks on some of my more precious books. These books are not replaceable you see.
Can you advise me on trapping and killing a rat?
Thank you,
Florus
Florus,
Thank you for writing to me about your business. [Large blot of ink.]
If the storage of your books is inviting the wilder variety of my preferred animal companions, then perhaps, the problem is not the animal, but the manner in which you are storing Panem's precious histories?
[Larger blot of ink. The contents of the last paragraph are partially scratched out before, it seems, the author thought better of it.]
Apologies, that was uncalled for. As you know, rats are some of my closest companions. I will be along shortly to help collect the rat. I would advise that you restrain from any attempts at killing it, or I may lose my temper.
Best,
Felix Ravinstill
