Why was she so upset? Weren’t those just trees? The female questioned her motives herself, when she discovered a distant memory. It was her, being scolded. About how trees breath their own way, how they eat, how they get sick, how they emit resin to close their wounds.Shou was taught to respect even plants, by a small flower, when she was still young. That even this kind of life had its meaning. Grass is stomped on to cross great distances and to discover new land, Flowers are picked to make people happy, or to wish them the best when they’re sick. And trees, trees get cut down for their wood in order to provide shelter and necessities for living.Why didn’t she remember this earlier?Compared to that, blowing up forests or being ‘mother nature’s worst nightmare’ to impress girls seemed pointless.
Shou snapped out of it and quickly apologized for her rash scolding “I’m sorry! I just remembered something… oh right, the wood.. I’ll see to give it some good use. Would you kindly take care of the seedlings while I bring these down?"She pointed at some more chunks of wood. Come to think of it, hopefully her ‘home’ was alright and not blown up.
