It may have just been inactive for a while...

But I'm starting fresh, and just going to run this as an MLP Ask Blog for kicks.  The Picture on my blog's background was done by 'NekonX103' on Deviantart.  Not stealing her picture, I just googled an image I could use, saw that, loved it, and thought 'I want that as my background.   If they ask, I'll be happy to take it down and find another, or commission a drawing of Queen Chrysalis out of my own pocket instead.   Anyway, the basic rundown of Hex.   Estranged Brother to the 3 Diamond Dogs that Rarity encountered, but eventually left them after endless ridicule over his lofty ambitions to becoming a General of a mighty army, and met a Changeling, who took him to see Chrysalis.  After a single epic Pun, the Queen was brought to tears of laughter, kept him on board as her Squire, to help her run errands, and keep her entertained.  The Puns became quickly tiresome, but he proved to be too valuable as a Squire to get rid of, so she now puts up with Hex's Puns, and although she doesn't like to admit it, she sees him as family, because of his loyalty to her.   Hex has a fondness for Sapphires in particular, while Diamonds and Rubies are ok to him, Emeralds just make him drool, but anything else he doesn't care for.  

He secretly has a thing for a Changeling Handmaiden to the Queen, who tends to stay in form, looking a little geeky, but tends to have a sharp wit, and often enters battles of insults and puns with Hex.  He thinks nobody knows, but Queen Chrysalis sees it clear as day, and discreetly encourages it, because it's one less Changeling to feed, while he holds a candle for her.  

Hex loves spicy food, and apple cider, fresh from Ponyville, and often asks a Changeling to get some of it from Applejack, so he doesn't alarm them and have to stop getting it.   He is skilled at cooking, and is quite agile and efficient, always looking for ways to innovate things.  However, when excited, he has been known to skitter across polished surfaces in his excitement, and crash into things, which has become a source of amusement for the Queen.  He has also been known to stop dead still when asked a riddle, and spend ages trying to figure it out, due to being hopeless at them.  The Queen and the Handmaiden both use this to their advantage to get him to be quiet for a while.

So basically:

Likes: Apple Cider, Spicy food, Handmaiden to the Queen, 'Sapphire Shimmer', Puns, Water.

Dislikes: Griffons, Mornings, Polished Surfaces, Spiders.

Skills: Cooking, Innovating the little things, Squire Errands, Puns, Gardening.

Bad at: Stopping on Polished surfaces, Riddles.

Lucky Charm: A 6 sided dice made out of Marble.
