Mabel and Dipper are genuinely good kids who hardly ever get in trouble at school. A girl in Mabel's third grade class once called her a nerd for liking learning, never getting in trouble, and having "boring hobbies." Mabel ended up punching her in the nose, ironically being sent to the principal's office.
