I have not thought about what happens to the Lieutenant. I did not think about what happens to the Lieutenant while I was writing Abandoned Treasure. He gets domesticated, obviously, but domestication is not a punishment -- it is not a sentence. Even people who do monstrous things like the Lieutenant did deserve the full happiness that the Affini Compact offers. But let's just say he got a pred-prey Owner who stalks him in every shadow because that's a fun cosmic twist, huh?
