21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like?
Mario: Favorite - Being an awesome big brother. Nothing makes me happier that warm family moments and Mario's the perfect person to help with this. Nope - Finding a good balance between having him grow as a character/hero, but also leaving room for him to learn. There's a concern that I could write him a bit on the overly concerned guy.
Luigi: Favorite - His bravery. This is not a slam against Mario, I also think he's brave! But Luigi's the person who will wear his heart on his sleeve and everyone knows he's terrified. That doesn't stop him from keeping everyone safe. Nope - A little bit similar to my comment about Mario, but I'm worried that there may be times that I could cause Luigi to seem more of a wimp than what I intend. I shoot for overly cautious and worry I go a bit to far.
Wario: Favorite - Being able to taunt and tease. Wario is definitely falling into the role of big brother for all of them, even if he doesn't want to. (He does, but he's never gonna admit that...maybe.) I would say that Wario's first sign of affection are playful jabs. Nothing to mean when he actually cares about the person, but also trying to say he doesn't care to much about that person. Nope - Not knowing enough about the character and getting something extremely wrong about his personality. Even with this being an AU, I feel like I could give him a wrong trait.
Waluigi: Favorite - Being a smart ass. Waluigi has the sharp mind and quick wit that I've always wanted. So it's fun to explore that with this character. Nope - Same as Wario, with a dash of 'Can I make Wario and Waluigi different enough to feel like siblings but like their own person?' If I know little about Wario, there's even less for Waluigi.
