How would Hinny celebrate their wedding anniversaries? Would they do something special like second honeymoon for their 25th or 50th?

Aww this is a really sweet question! Side note, 2026 will be my TENTH wedding anniversary, which is wild to me (we got married very young hehe).

I have to admit that my mind is currently so busy keeping canon facts and my own HBP/DH head canons straight that the tendrils of my imagination have only gotten to Harry/Ginny's proposal in my mind.

But, to answer this...

I think that in their younger years they have no shortage of "honeymoons" with Ginny's Quidditch travel schedule. Harry'll come meet her all across the world and they'll jump in oceans, ski down mountains, explore pyramids in Egypt and be that obnoxious hot travel couple we all wish we could be.

Then when you have kids there's the need to find couple-only time because it's so scarce, so anniversaries may look more like second honeymoons.

But in my experience when people reach a certain age they start to have the perspective that the most precious resource is their health and time with the people they love. So in my mind, the greatest anniversary gift that Harry and Ginny share on their 50th is a smile across a crowded room of family that says "How lucky are we to have had so much happiness and life in our years."

So, 🔥 What are your favourite three fics that you wrote and why?

That's definitely my favorite question because I love yapping about my fics... though it's hard to choose.

Let's see. For The Witcher... well. While I believe that "I've Been Wounded, I've Been Healed" is one of the best fics I've done, and it certainly is a favorite, I'd still go with "Theatre of Pain". Why? Because first of all, I wrote the whole series (Road of no Release) for myself. I wanted a specific Geralt whump and I wanted Emhyr to be the caretaker, so I needed to write that myself. And though I wrote 2 more fics for the series after this one (which I deleted), this is still the peak. I feel it's very very very whumpy, exactly how I like it (and yeah I think I'm basically the only one who read that fic lol) and it still fuels my imagination. And I reread it quite often.

For BuckTommy? I love almost all of them (though, again, I've deleted a couple), but my favorite baby, probably, is "I Didn't Know How to Love You". After I post a fic, I'm always unsure because I don't get a lot of kudos and even less comments, and sometimes - not always, kids! - it means people just don't like it. And you see, with BuckTommy it's like... I was in the fandom, it was fun, and I WANT people to interact with these fics. I've made my peace with knowing that I don't write what the Witcher kids want to read, that's fine. But when a BuckTommy fic somewhat flops, well that hurts. So, take it with a grain of salt, I think from my more "popular" fics, this one is the one I like best because it feels like an episode of 911 to me. I do believe that "Watch Your Step, Cassandra" is the even better fic but it's quite complicated, I think, and maybe just too ambitious. But it's funny that fics that I didn't have a beta for got so much more kudos. Which goes to say, kids, just WRITE, don't care if you're the best in English.

Now, for any other fandom I wrote for, what's my favorite fic? I'll have to go with "A Grain of Salt", which was and will be the only fic I've done for Doctor Who. I love it just because of a fact that only @deagle knows (okay I will give you a hint: a very special person heard her read the fic aloud, and it was ... awesome). By the way, girl, I accidentally removed my name from that fic, can you add me as a co-creator again LOL

4. A story idea you haven't written yet:

Depending on what you mean by 'haven't written' I have a jily disco fic and a lilypad detention fic that are in serious bare bones status at this point, but I'd really like to get around to finishing them. Each have a little scene/dialogue written here and there but nothing super substantial.

Also, maybe this counts, but my husband has been egging me to write an au I have where everything in canon happens, but Sirius doesn't go to Azkaban. He'd kinda just spiral in trying to be there for Harry (the fic would take place pre Hogwarts so Harry would still be under the custody of the Dursleys who won't let him see Sirius/know the truth about his parents) while also coping with the loss of his best friends and actively trying to hunt down Peter. It would have a lot of flashbacks to marauders era so there would be still loads of jily but generally everything would be VERY sad and VERY difficult to write---so I haven't lol. But it's been an interesting thought experiment .

I'd also like to write a Snape centric one at some point where I would torture him with jily less--but torture him all the same ;)

12. A trope you are into right now

Well, seeing as I'm writing a one bed trope currently...that one! But as far as reading other people's work, I've surprised myself with reading a lot of second chances AU---specifically yours, Abi and my forever reread of Eighteen Again by @scriibble-fics.

14. how do you write emotional scenes? Do you ever feel what the characters feel? Do you draw from personal experiences?

I think my most important approach is to get in the mood beforehand, to listen to sad music for example. I always felt what y/n felt when I wrote emotional scenes there. Sometimes not as intense, like I didn't bawl my eyes out while writing, but my heart did hurt a loooot. It does get interrupted sometimes though when you go back and read again and start editing lol

I don't necessarily draw the emotions from personal experiences, I rather imagine how I would feel like in those situations. Music helps me a lot with that.

15. How do you write smut scenes? Do you get very visual or detailed? How important is it to be realistic?

I think for smut scenes it's the most important to make sure that your readers can follow the action and movements. Nothing throws you out of the scene more than suddenly asking yourself "how can his balls slap against her [insert bodypart] in that position?" At the same time, I think it doesn't have to be realistic in specific aspects. Like in Permission, Sukuna was way taller than y/n and some positions wouldn't have worked out the way I wrote them and DP with his dongs in one hole is something that would probably hurt a lot and wouldn't have been so easy as I wrote it. I think it's important to throw some aspects of realistic elements into it to not make the reader be thrown out of the scene. I also think the rythm and length of the scene is super important too.

How many words have you written this year?

I have no idea haha looking at what I posted at least 30K. Throw WIPs in there and probably around 50,000 I would guess.

What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)?

Blackhole always. https://archiveofourown.org/works/50159251. But I also wrote another fic this year that I am so so proud of. I felt like I delved into something that I was afraid to touch and I am so glad I did. I have grown a lot into my authentic self this year and that fic helped me so much.

What work of yours got more feedback than you expected?

The same fic as above. I got some amazing and beautiful comments and that made me feel so happy I wrote it.

If you use song lyrics, which artist’s songs did you pull from the most?

I mostly listen to non vocal music to write to. Any song lyric stuff I have done was drawing.

What work took you the longest to write?

Black Sweatshirt is still in progress and taking longer than I expected. I have around 10K written of the next two chapters but it is taking awhile. I sometimes get a weird surge of creative energy on Christmas so I hope i get that this year.

I got my next Black Sweatshirt chapters and a few one off WIPs I want to polish and share!

Your favorite character to write this year?

Teru usually is the answer but honestly Touichiro and Shou were big surprises (and Mezato!). But especially Touichiro. I found my rhythm with him and Reigen and I love where he is going.

What’s one pairing you want to explore next year?

None right now, I am hyperfixated on Terumob and I am not going to be changing anytime soon.

Which work of yours have you reread the most?

Probably Chapter 8 of Black sweatshirt 100% Guilt or the fic I mentioned above.

Favorite line/passage you wrote this year?

Ohhh hmmm.....gotta think about that.... I actually haven't posted this yet, but i wrote it when I was having a panic attack and realized it fit in perfectly with my next chapter.

He wants to tear out his spine, peel away the outer layers like they are candy wrappers and kick his vertebra through the glass windows and watch as shards of crystals shower down on rusty floors. Scrape and scrape and scrape nails on wooden walls till walnut turns into chestnut. Grab fistfuls of hair and iron and pull till bones snap in two.

Scream until the walls close in to silence him.

There is so much inside him, with nowhere to go.

how you feel about your current WIP

Lol which one!?!  They’re all driving me nuts atm lol, I’m trying to finish up the next chapter of my Kakashi x Oc long fic and have hit a wall, so I’m not super jazzed about that. My Kakashi 90’s au fic is mishmash mess. My BNHA Aizawa x Oc fic is going okay-ish so thats the only one I’m not actively mad at lol. 

11. a WIP you’d like to finish someday

I’m really love my KakaKami 18th cent. Japan au, I’ve done so much research for it and its so fun to translate their dynamic and some other nart characters into a new world and try to write in a different style to fit the setting too. So ya prob that one, its very near and dear to me and bc of that I’m trying to take my time and get it exactly how I want it.

14 where do you get your inspiration?

Lots of places! Mainly from reading, be it books or fic or manga. I draw as well as write so either looking at art I love or finding a reference can spark some sort of idea for my characters and their dynamics, makeup clothing or appearance. Sometimes people around me or the random ass shit that seems to happen to me lol.  I also really enjoy doing research so sometimes just exploring a silly almost random little topic or listening to a podcast at the gym gets the creative juices flowing, honestly podcasts are good too to just focus on something that isn’t writing but they still keep me thinking about pacing and storytelling.
