If you lived in Dungeon Meshi world, would you stay human or be something else?
I'd be an elf. Long-lived and magical is what I'd want to be. Also pointy ears rule.
I'd be chill about it, though.

That's it, I like Toga now. Thanks everyone.
i got my first job as a bookseller! i start tomorrow, do you have any advice? i'm kind of nervous because i want to do a good job. it's just a christmas contract but i would really like to be kept on or work in another bookshop after.
First of all, congratulations! A short contract is a great way to get a foot in the door - it took me a three-month unpaid internship, so you’re already winning. I’m not an expert or anything, and many things will differ depending on where you work exactly, but here’s some advice that comes to mind:
Working in a bookshop means working in retail / customer service. While some of the romantic ideas people have about this job are real, there’s also a LOT of hard work involved, especially around the holidays. Be prepared for demanding customers, physical exertion, overstimulation, and all the giftwrapping.
Show your co-workers that you’re eager to learn by being inquisitive and open to new things, but don’t pepper them with too many questions or expect them to take you by the hand. Everyone’s tolerance for newbie mentorship is different, especially during the busiest time of the year.
Have an open mind towards customers. Chances are you will get all sorts: kookie elderly people who don’t understand the internet, socially awkward teens with blue hair who order a lot of manga, fancy white men in suits who are only interested in the business / politics / current affairs sections, conspiracy theorists who ask for EXTREMELY questionable titles about lizard people, and so on. Everyone deserves to be seen and to be treated with equal respect, even when you’re inevitably exhausted and cranky at the end of your shift.
People will come to you for book recommendations, both for themselves and to gift to others. It really helps to have a few “standard” titles in the back of your mind to pull from.
Ask for help when you need it. Co-workers and managers can’t help you learn if you’re not open and honest about things you don’t know or understand; a newbie gone rogue because they’re too shy or proud to ask for help usually means more work for everyone cleaning up their messes, so don’t be that person.
This all sounds super severe, but it’s also super important to remember to have fun! Especially once you start building rapport with regular customers, there’ll definitely be moments to joke around and make a more personal connection with people around mutual booklove.

I read that you were polylingual and I was just wondering :) What's it like speaking different languages? I'm taking Japanese now and progressing slowly but learning anyway! Sorry for such a long ask btw ((((:

Ya'll, I now believe Dabi is a Todoroki theory with all my heart. It is him and even Horikoshi himself won't be able to talk me out of it. This it.
