Jack stood there, confused when he saw another Jack yet again. "Seriously, where are all the me's coming from?" he looked around, expecting to see more of him, but to no avail. He shrugged and approached his double. "Hey," he greeted with a wave.

Standing on the center of the frozen lake, Jack found himself overcome with nostalgia for the days where he was still human. He had always felt so alone. The Guardians were busy. He didn't have any other friends. Some people couldn't even see him. But that wasn't his point. He missed his sister, and the rest of his human life, a lot.
He sensed the presence of someone else so he turned his head, his privacy intruded a bit. "Who's out there?" he said before sighing. Why did he bother? Whoever was there might not even be capable of seeing him.
