Announcement: The Inevitable

OOC: I'm not sure if this is the news everyone was dreading, expecting, or doesn't really care about but here it is:

 I'm going to have to close this blog. Of course, it will stay up (I won't be deleting it) but I will not be taking any more questions or answering questions. I will post up the remaining questions, of course, because I feel that it is the respectful thing to do but I will not be answering new ones.

 I will make a queue, though, for any Jackunzel posts so there will be the occasional posting of art, edits, and manips but that's all my schedule will allow.

 Besides the queue of art and edits, AskJackunzel is closed for questions. I would like to change the URL, since it's not an ask-blog anymore, though I'm not sure what else I could choose… But as soon as I locate a good URL, I will be changing it.

 I've been debating this for the last few weeks and trying to figure out a way to keep myself energetic and on top of this blog, but I just can't find the energy to keep it running with so much work on my plate, a new dog (yes, we just got a new puppy who is cute but the most stubborn creature on the planet), and academics (they raised my tuition almost a $1,000 and I'm trying to find a way to get that money before the payment due date). When I do write, it's mainly my original works since I do want to publish a book series one day and that keeps coming up as my top priority.

 So, instead of being a jerk and stringing you guys along, I'm going to have to do what I believe is the right thing to do. If anyone else wants to create a Jackunzel ask blog, I'll happily give them the URL and they can use it. :] I know that there is still a great passion for the ship on this site, and my little blog isn't going to create an even sizeable ripple in this fandom's ocean.

I'll miss you all terribly. I'm closing the ask option for now, but hope that in about a few weeks, I can re-open it if any of you want to talk to me. Or send death threats for not taking questions any more. xD Whatever works. I love you all and I've met wonderful people on here and I've had even more intense-to-hilarious conversations through this blog. I've been wrestling so hard with my decision with it, I almost wanted to just continue without ever making an actual decision but I knew that was just the childish route to take. I hope every one of you will continue to have a blessed and great life. And keep the Jackunzel shipping live on~ ;D

To reiterate, if the scrawls of paragraphs may have confused anyone:

I am closing the ask box and not answering any questions further via Jack and Rapunzel.

I will make sure to answer the questions ALREADY in the inbox at my own pace .

There will continue to be a queue of reblogs of edits, manips, and art of Jackunzel.

The ask box will be closed for about two to three weeks, or sooner if I can grab a new URL before then.

I will change URLs. 'AskJackunzel' is available if someone wishes to create their own Jackunzel ask or rp blog. You can use the submit option if you want, and if no one specific wants it, it'll just be up for whoever grabs it after I use the new URL.

Not as a joke, but you should do a belated Jackunzel week. :) Same themes, same assigned week days, but a week or so late. I'd love to see what you have in store. PS: YAY YOU'RE BACK!

ooc: I am considering that. I wrote up a summary of what I would like to do for each prompt. Just simple drabbles, nothing extensive, but I think I will do so. :) And why, yes I am~

I know that I don't deserve any sympathy, but I would like to apologize for the fact I've been so absent. 

One of my dogs, a beagle who has been with us for ten year who we lovingly named Loki (waaay before Thor came out, thank you very much) was put to sleep today because of several cancerous tumors on his abdomen, pancreas, and spleen. We did not... expect it at all. It was a very nasty surprise. His skin was as pale as the palm of my hand, he was so sick. We thought it was only one benign tumor we could remove, but it was far worse. It only took one incision before... before blood just poured out. It had been building up inside him because of the tumors. 

He did get to see my sister and all her friends before he went. His brother, Donkey, possibly has cancer, as well, but we are watching him carefully. I'm worried about him, because he and Loki were very codependent and i'm afraid he'll die of grief before dying of cancer.

I know Loki is with all my other dogs and pets in Heaven, probably doing that little whine of his and wagging his tail nervously in anticipation like he always did before meeting people. I'm glad he's not suffering silently anymore, as we now know how much pain he was bearing everyday.

If anyone is spiritual or religious, please pray for my other dog. And for everyone, regardless of belief, culture, race, or status--treasure your furry best friends. They can leave so quickly...

The reason Jack and Punz aren't answering questions right now is because I'm saving that for the weekend, with all the college work I'm doing right now. Answer Disney/Dreamworks family stuff doesn't take as much effort or time and it's for commemoration of the follower count, so that's why those are being answered. >_< So, don't worry if you don't see Jack and Punz answering at the moment.

Also, after several suggestions from others, I did pick a character for the family. I'm Genie in someone else's Disney Family, so I chose my other favorite blue buddy~

I absolutely love your blog, one of the first I found when I fell head over heels for Jackunzel :D I was also wondering if I could be part of your Disney/Dreamworks family as Alice, pretty please???
