A few days ago, the baby Java Finch I was taking care of has died. He had surgery for his injury, but it was too late. My roommate and I bought everything for the little one. A cage, toys, bird food. I was expecting to keep him. I even named him Darwin. I hope he wasn’t in any pain when he passed.

Rest well, little one.
