How do the piercings make you feel? I am just sincerely curious as to why people have piercings.
Hello lovely Anon :) Thanks for your question and I hope I don't bore you with my ramblings :)
Piercings make me feel happy. I weirdly get very attached to them and when they reject I miss them dearly. RIP horizontal lobe,nape and tongue web.
Why do I have piercings ? Well ...
1)I really really like the way they look.I find them so attractive.Unf.
2)Girls love bracelets,rings,necklaces,earrings and whatnot.I love studs,bars and tunnels.I'm just adding to my jewellery collection really :)
3)I LOVE the rush of getting a piercing.That nervous adrenaline filled feeling right before you get one is amazing.
.4)One of my biggest insecurities is my nose,so I got it pierced in attempt to make myself like it more.Even though I still don’t like my nose at all , I hate it that little bit less with the piercing in it.
4)My friend pierced my ear twice and those piercings remind me of our friendship , which is nice.
5)You could say none of my piercings technically "serve a purpose" (unless you count nipple and tongue for sexual reasons) , but they do make me happy and sure isn't that the most important thing.
6)Some people have different reasons for piercings , for instance I know a girl who got her belly button pierced to motivate her to lose weight .
7)People can get them as a sign of friendship or rebellion :) My friend got his finger pierced just to prove he had the balls to get it done.
8)Sometimes piercings mark a significant moment in someones life like a birthday or something.I got my tragus pierced because at the pub after my first day of college I drunkenly promised one of the lads in my course we'd go get piercings together.A few days later we did , so for me that marks my transition from secondary school to the adult world.
9)My tongue piercing isn't the traditional one , it's a scoop tongue aka surface tongue.I got it done because I absolutely adore the look of this piercing. And it's fun to play with.
10) In the same way people dye their hair,wear certain clothes or get tattoos , piercings are just an addition to yourself in a way you find aesthetically pleasing.
