I know this seems like a weird question, but how do I avoid writing the … *whispers* manic pixie dream girl?
If you really want one in your story there is no saving you, because she will appear. If you don’t want one, simply don’t write a character who is excited about everything and jumps from place to place. After all, a story doesn’t need to have a Star or Pinkie Pie.-INFP
I’m actually gonna slightly disagree here, because its really easy to avoid a manic pixie dream girl and still have a “pinkie pie” type character. MPDG’s as a character trope exist only to provide insight/excitement to their (usually male) companion character. So if you have a character who has MPDG-esc attributes(like excitement, bubbly-ness, quirky, etc), but she has her own defined issues, goals, and values then she’s not a MPDG.-ISFJ
I hate that I get sad for hours for no reason. I just want to be okay. is that okay?
It is perfectly to want to be ok, just like it is perfectly ok to have times of melancholy and sadness, just as long as you remember that those too will pass and brighter days will come.
1.Thanks! @wickedeiji
2. Yeah for characters, INTP, ENFP, ENTP, ENFJ, INFJ, ISTP, and ESTP are all based on people I know. for backgrounds i kinda just try to bs my way through creating a believable and character driven space lol.
3. Thanks!! I have no idea how we would get around to actually publishing lol, but its nice to know some people would be interested @bulllinachinashop
4. I know this is pretty old but the next comic is coming up soon. Thank you!
5. Thank you! @standintheraain
6. indeed.
7. never heard it! I’ll have to give it a try
8. Thank you! you have a good day too!
9. Chamomile is good! I would suggest gushing about it on a tea themed blog tho lol
10. Thank you!!! we appreciate it!
11. Thank you! @cognitionis-amor
12. Thank you!
13. Thanks!
14. Sorry it took so long to get to this but I’m glad you had fun guessing!
15. Thank you! INFP writer is primarily responsible for the blog. (ESFP totally does look like mark i swear i didn’t intend that lmao)
16. I think ENFJs fit pretty well all types of people but INTPs are always hidden away in their hermit holes so I think ENFJs especially like digging them out and adopting them. @fantasizing-in-code
17. Personally I don’t think people can be split between two types. If you’re having problems typing yourself the cognitive functions can help, it might also help if you learn your enneagram because my INTP friend would probably type according to the test as an INFP or INFJ simply because her enneagram 2 is so powerful.
18. For sure! Tests can only be so accurate and its important not to take them at face value.
19. Thanks! @we-generouslybeautifulstudent
20 and 21. Here are all the character bios!
(technically this should go in the character related questions but oops)
22. That would be HILARIOUS i love it
23. The entire tv series should just be her slowly walking away from explosions with a different pair of heels on every episode. @ravenclawer
24. that is....... weirdly the vibe i was going for when i designed her how did u know
SHIPPING(or relationship dynamics)
1. haha nice! they would be pretty cute!
2. dude i have an ENFP sister and y'all are frickin terrifying in a fight ngl
3. Thank you! Shipping is fun but it can get a little tiring lol
4. We covered this in the Q&A video but i’ll type it out too. I, meaning ISFJ artist, wanted to avoid romantic relationships as much as possible, that was one of my requirements when starting this comic. INFP writer is a romantic, but was kind enough to compromise with me and only have one established relationship in the comic (his fav dynamic of INFP and ENTJ). That being said, everyone is totally welcome to headcannon, fanart, and ship any of the characters as you please!!! (excluding shipping entp/enfp or istj/istp because they're related please don’t ship them) I wholeheartedly welcome ships, I just don’t really like creating them i guess.
5. Adorable.
ISFJ HEALTH
1.I’m good!
2 and 3. Thank you all for understanding! @in-a-mellow-tone
4. I’m not sure when exactly this was sent in but it was probably my fault, I either had rough couple of days mental health wise or I got really busy
5. Thank you this is very sweet.
CHARACTER RELATED
1. Not totally sure when this got sent in, but if you’re refering to the first chapter we had to juggle characters quite a bit to get everyone introduced so characters were brought in and out lol @gingerninja69
2, 3, and 4.
1. Thank you!
2, 3, and 4. Sure!
5. lmao thats fair, some anime character are hella ripped.
6. oh no
what makes you smile? like genuinely (touched that someone did this) kind of smile?
Not sure about ISFJ, but for me the INFP, it’s when people actually return the favor or are actually true friends to the likes of which you’d see in Slice of Life animes or even TV shows like Friends, Big Bang Theory, and other such sitcoms. This is actually a pretty huge thing for me personally because I don’t get to witness it so much, which is why when I get to witness such things it brings a smile to my face. To basically summarize without rambling, it’s when people actually care, are kind, and show genuine love.
