It was almost ironic. The only reason Valerie had even joined the Survey Corps was to kill totans, and then die an honorable death in battle. Ever since her sister died, that was all she wanted in life. And now, she was hiding in an abandoned cottage, just waiting for some titan to come and kill her. On her very first mission.
The girl didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, so she was about to do both when she heard a strangely human sound in the next room. Slowly, she opened the door, and saw someone else sitting on the floor… Probably in the same situation as herself. “Oh… Hello.”
