Frankenstein and his Monster answer meme questions.

1. Shirato: His nails are brittle and always breaking, so he drums his fingers with the pads.

Minako: Depends on how short they are, but she defaults to nails if they’re long enough.

2. Shirato: Stainless fucking steel. Like that exact feeling of a steel sink or basin. The worst.

Minako: Slimy clingy stuff, think snail slime.

3. Shirato: Without feeling gross? Probably 3 days. Without being critically unhappy about it? Probably 10-12 days. Sometimes you just don’t care enough.

Minako: Longer than she should, like a week.

4. Shirato: Chair when possible. Laundry is the worst.

Minako: Anywhere.

5. Shirato: Closed, because he’s paranoid about people coming in while he’s asleep.

Minako: Closed, because she likes the quiet.

6. Shirato: 3 AM. It’s when all the sketchy deals are made, and when it’s not hot outside. He prefers wearing more clothes than less.

Minako: What even is a sleep schedule?

7. Shirato: A mutt dog. Something scruffy with pointed ears, probably has some German Shepherd in there.

Minako: It’s not ears-and-a-tail, but I’m going to say some kind of bird of prey feathers.

8. Shirato: Anything, but if he got a choice, fruit of all kinds. It rots a lot and is hard to get, so it’s basically candy for someone who doesn’t get much fresh food.

Minako: Every woman’s best friend, chocolate. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, shitty Hershey’s, anything. Put it in her face.

9. Shirato: Yes, and he has a few he still rereads all the time.

Minako: Nah, that gets boring. Novelty is king.

10. Shirato: He already does. Well...sort of. But yes, he’s fine with it.

Minako: Hell no. 11. Shirato:  The Inugami, a vengeful dog spirit animated by dark sorcery.

Minako: Harpy, a combination of bird and woman. The old-school Hesiod harpies, who weren’t ugly and vulturous, but more like bird-angels. 12. Shirato: “Heathens,” by Twenty-One Pilots. I mean it’s kind of Strega’s anthem if you have to pick one.

Minako: “It’s My Life,” Bon Jovi.

13. Shirato: No, but he’s open to the idea that he might just not know one exists.

Minako: Unsure. She thinks the Metaverse is sort of an afterlife?

14. Shirato: He more gets the irritated/stressed twitch, so occasionally.

Minako: No, they just sag until she nods off.

15. Shirato: Water. If he had the spoons and resources, he would learn to dive. His random dream is to sleep underwater somehow because it seems so comfortable.

Minako: Charmeuse silk -- the really slippery stuff people think of when they think of silk.

16. Shirato: All the damn time.

Minako: If she sees someone else do it, she will do it automatically, like yawning.

17. Shirato: Waits, but stares intently at it until it’s the right temperature.

Minako: She’s patient enough to wait.

18. Shirato: No-but-yes. He has a weakness for kids down on their luck, because he was one. Also cats, because they take care of themselves.

Minako: All of them.

19. Shirato: Everything gets done On Fucking Time, and mostly not with procrastination.

Minako: What even is a work ethic?

20. Shirato: As long as humanly possible, as hot as he can stand.

Minako: Long hot baths, cooler showers in the morning for energy.

21. Shirato: Only when he feels safe enough to zone out and is okay thinking about life. So...not usually.

Minako: Loves relaxing and daydreaming.

22. Shirato: Controlled chaos. If the mess is relevant to his work, he’s fine with it. If not, get it out.

Minako: She tends to enjoy neatness but kind of inherently messes up wherever she works, so it goes in cycles.

23. Shirato: Photos, no, but he has a couple of trinkets he won’t let go of.

Minako: ALL OF THEM. Phones are wonderful.

24. Shirato: The longest baths ever. Once the bathroom door shuts, you are out of luck.

Minako: She’s quite a hedonist, so “indulgence” is daily life.

25. Shirato: Absolutely.

Minako: Only to tease.

26. Shirato: Only if it seems relevant to him directly. No need to get in anyone’s way if he doesn’t have to.

Minako: Yes, because something interesting is happening.

27. Shirato: Bust out the briefcase computer and check GPS.

Minako: Pick a direction that seems right and go.

28. Shirato: A dream where everyone in the city is replaced by giant talking bugs. Very Kafka.

Minako: A dream where she’s walking around without skin, but nobody seems to notice.

29. Shirato: Doesn’t tend to do stupid shit just to prove a point, but when he was a kid he once got dared to give a cat a bath. The cat did not approve.

Minako: Ate an entire three pound bar of chocolate and managed not to throw up for like an hour.

30. Shirato: Pain is a next door neighbor, so very stoic.

Minako: Not melodramatic, but makes her irritations known at least once.
