thank you!! I was taking requests based on my own costume/character design reference collections so there's no specific post, but I've put together some moodboards of sorts of my inspirations for these designs (and sourced them as best I could, pinterest is a nightmare TT)

molly + regal fantasy:

lots of fun with this one, but not a lot of explanation on my thought process. I just wanted to draw a very fancy lad!

imogen + wild & fey:

I was planning on putting more details/plants here but I do tend towards more simple clean design so! it turned out this way. I was also originally going for a more earthy colour palette too but that was not matching her whole pastel purple hair well at all so I went with colours that went better with that.

jester + shining armor:

Not a lot for this one! The vibe was like. paladin au Jester. Mainly drew on these two refs plus muscle memory based on drawing fire emblem fanart years ago. I tried to match the holding hands design of her tattoo with the clasp on the top/cape bit and added bee + flower designs like her Eiselcross outfit. Also I had to make her weapon lollipop-esque like her spiritual weapon of course.
