(OOC: 100 words for the travelers that crossed paths? Neo and Moony.)
“Kid, I get that you wanna be strong, but there’s not a lot I can teach you,” the absol sighed, scratching the back of his head with a claw.
Neo sparked impatiently. “You’re a warrior! There’s gotta be something you can teach me!”
Dark Moon slid down until he was laying in front of Neo, eye to eye. “I’m gonna level with you. I’m a warrior, yeah, but there’s more to being strong than just cracking a boulder with my fist. You gotta be strong in here, first.” He touched a claw to Neo’s chest, smiling warmly.
“There are people who depend on me. My trainer, my friends, my girlfriend... I’m there for them when they need me. If they need me to listen, I listen. If they need me to protect them, I’ll protect them. But you gotta remember that strength comes from the inside. Be sure of yourself. Stand up for what you believe in, and you’ll do alright.” He smiled.
Neo blinked, and his face twisted into a thin frown. “Dude, that’s kinda lame.”
Dark Moon laughed, “Is it? Well, I’m pretty happy being lame.”
