The operatives at the Jungle Outpost are making great progress. There was another airplane purposely crashed into the tree canopy at the beginning of this week and reports are that it’s being incorporated into the new Treehouse design appropriately.
I’ve got to admit, I put Numbuhs Three and Four in charge of overseeing the outpost construction as something to keep them busy and safe during this war, but they’ve completely blown me out of the water with how well they’re handling it. I had no idea either of them had such natural leadership skills, and the progress of the outpost is really teaching me a thing or two about my teammates.
On a related subject, I’m beginning to think Numbuh Three might not be as ditzy as she makes out. Numbuh Four is still shouting at 2x4 planks and biting rocks on a regular basis, but Kuki has really stepped up to the mark and taken charge of the camp’s creative oversight. There wasn’t even a single Rainbow Monkey-themed hut in the blueprints last time I checked; now we’re all supporting ourselves as individual units of Sector V she’s really taking things seriously.

I haven’t slept for a day or two, but that’s thanks to the toxic fumes swamping Townsville Park and giving me too much of a headache to settle down. Every time it seems like we’re close to disinfecting the fissure through the middle of the park it splits further, sinks deeper and lets out another cavernful of Fusion matter gas to poison the air even more than it already has.
I plan to look into getting hold of 2x4 rebreathers for myself and my team as soon as possible. We will make progress.
